*Expired* $16.99 Scotch Thermal Laminator (was $80.49)

LaminatorSorry, the price has gone back up again. The Scotch Thermal Laminator is only $16.99 with free shipping at Amazon (that’s 79% off the original price of $80.49) is my favorite gift for educational and crafty do-it-yourself projects. I am also happy to see affordable refills at 13 cents per pouch. Remember you get free shipping with Amazon Prime or Amazon Mom (join the waitlist) or free Super Saver Shipping on $25+ orders. I bought this laminator last year when my friend alerted me to the $19.99 deal. I love this laminator and it has received great reviews by others.

You can laminate items that are up to 9 inches wide – there are lots of uses including magnets, bookmarks, id cards, flash cards, placemats, books, preserve artwork, or protect frequently used documents. My favorite use is to laminate instructions for games – because they get handled so much they start to rip and fall apart. What type of projects you’ll be using this laminator for?

You’ll also need to order refills and I recommend the Universal Laminating Pouches (100 count, 9 inches wide) for $12.65 (save 70%). I’m using these refills with my laminator and I see no reason to pay more for the Scotch brand (I’ve used both to compare them). The pouches cost about 13 cents each. It makes sense to order the widest (and cheapest) refill the machine can use because if you are laminating something small you just line them up horizontally (with a small gap between objects). This post contains affiliate links, please read my Disclosure Policy for more information. Thank you!  As I get ready to dive into homeschooling, I know that I will use this often.  I had wanted one, but was not paying full retail.  This is the right price for a non-necessity.  Thanks for all that you do!

great job – great research – thank you. purchased and also added the 100pack to it – which is far better than the branded – and having your recommendation was reassuring. thank you !

I tried to buy this today, but the price has gone up to $29.99. I should have bought it the first day I saw it. It is still I good value, but I could not buy it after knowing that it was cheaper earlier.
I appreciate all the great deals & that you do for us Heather!!!
