*EXPIRED* Free Energizer Recharge AA Batteries 4-Pack ($13 value)

by Heather on August 31, 2010 6:50 am

Update from Energizer:  For those who received a coupon for a free 4-pack of Energizer® Recharge™ batteries and are currently experiencing trouble redeeming the coupon, we are communicating to our retailers that the coupons are authentic, but cannot assure how long it will take for that message to get down to every cashier. If they are rejected, please talk to that store’s customer service manager and explain that this was a Facebook promotion through Energizer and that you received a legit coupon that will be honored by Energizer. To verify the legitimacy the store can see the watermarks on the coupon that prevent fraudulent coupons from being printed. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have additional questions, please contact Energizer customer service by calling 800-383-7323 or visiting http://www.energizer.com/Pages/enr-contact.aspx

Thanks!

I just got $1 off coupon. I was able to print it as many times as I wanted and email it to anyones email. I sent it to my husband! Not as good as free though!!!

You said 30k but it was only 5k oh well

I think they made a mistake on their form. It was 5,000 for the last giveaway, but this one was 30,000 free product coupons by mail.

I just went to Walmart to get the batteries for free with the coupon and they said that it was a fake coupon, that there are a lot going around, not just for Energizer products but something else, so they didn’t take it. Do you know anything about this being true? Thanks!

  • Heather

It’s not a fake coupon, it’s printed on special security paper and can be verified.

I thought so. I will try at a different place. The cashier was not helpful in many ways, in the end, and this was just one more. I will let you know. Thanks for the quick reply.

FYI, I went to my local Publix and after they had to check the coupon at Customer Care for a while, I finally got the batteries. Thanks.

I tried to redeem the second coupon I had in my household at the Walmart in Miami Gardens and was told this time that, and I quote, “Walmart does not give away free stuff but only accepts discount coupons”. I guess this is a Walmart policy. Again, I got the batteries at my local Publix.
