Does a preschool teacher qualify as a teacher? I hope so, would love to win to buy christmas for my kids and my class!

I know that this is not your giveaway but Sears. Its just being sponsored on your blog.
But for real This is a FRUGAL blog. What would any of these professions like :
    # Police
    # Military
    # Veteran
    # Firefighter
    # Hospital Staff be lurking around a blog like this???

The only exception would be a teacher. All the rest make plenty of money they do not need to be reading here.

Now if the giveaway was for a student, I am sure there would be tons of readers here who would enter

    Just my opinion.

Just wondering my EMS workers are never recognized as hero’s? My husband is a paramedic and works 911 calls and not only has he saved a lot of lives in his line of work, but he has also delivered 2 healthy babies on his own.

Thanks for the “Salute to Heroes giveaway”. We may be Heroes to many people, but we also volunteer (With no pay) and do it because we love what we do. It is hard work and never have regrets. So, thanks for recognize what we stand for. We see a lot of hurt, pain, loss, and sadness in our work, but this always motivates to want to do more for others. We also see the good that comes out of what we can do for many people.

    This is special, thanks.

I’m with Shannon – wondering why Sears doesn’t include EMS Workers on their list of heros?? Also, the list doesn’t say anything about Volunteer Firefighters/EMS. Surely they are included too. Right?

To the person that said those professions make plenty of money: You’re kidding, right?! I can’t vouch for everyone, but my husband is a 24 year law enforcement officer and you would absolutely LAUGH at his salary. We barely make it, and live paycheck to paycheck. And, I also work (my salary is laughable as well) in a daycare. But I love my life, I am very blessed and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Money isn’t everything. I can’t believe you made such a blanket statement on a giveaway for heroes. Seriously? If I were you, I’d be embarrassed.
