I continue to be impressed by Catalog Choice, a free service to easily stop the catalogs you don’t want from appearing in your mailbox.  It saves you time by being able to request that you be removed from several mailing lists all in one place.  Most of the catalogs I’ve entered at Catalog Choice are no longer appearing in my mailbox (many catalogs I at one time wanted to receive, some are true junk mail that I didn’t specifically sign-up for).  The great thing about Catalog Choice is that if you continue to receive a catalog after “opting-out” you can report that you are still receiving it and they do the follow-up for you. It’s a great way to save time by letting them contact the companies for you, and a great way to reduce the number of catalogs you get in your mailbox.

If you are using Catalog Choice, leave a comment and tell us what you think about it? If you are using a different free service to reduce junk mail, let us know about it! What other things are you doing to reduce the amount of junk mail you get?
