I continue to be impressed by Catalog Choice, a free service to easily stop the catalogs you don’t want from appearing in your mailbox. It saves you time by being able to request that you be removed from several mailing lists all in one place. Most of the catalogs I’ve entered at Catalog Choice are no longer appearing in my mailbox (many catalogs I at one time wanted to receive, some are true junk mail that I didn’t specifically sign-up for). The great thing about Catalog Choice is that if you continue to receive a catalog after “opting-out” you can report that you are still receiving it and they do the follow-up for you. It’s a great way to save time by letting them contact the companies for you, and a great way to reduce the number of catalogs you get in your mailbox.

I don’t mind catalogs so much but how do you get rid of credit card offers and all that kind of stuff?
I love Catalog Choice. It’s significantly reduced the number of catalogs that end up at our house, which helps our family to spend less. If we don’t know it’s out there, we don’t buy it.

I used to save the labels and call catalog companies en masse but since child, it’s been harder to do. This is so much easier and I don’t need to labels to remind me!

What does this have to do with freebies?
To be honest I enjoy browsing through catalogs. They are free and keep me up to date on that is in and on sale where and when.
