Disney Rewards FREE Birthday DVD

by Freebies4Mom on May 5, 2010 3:05 pm

When you are a member of Disney Movie Rewards you will get offered a free Blu-Ray DVD for your birthday (you pay $2.95 shipping) plus 25 bonus points.  Choose from Enchanted, High School Musical 2, Meet the Robinsons, National Treasure, or The Game Plan.  Please note this DVD will only play on a Blu-Ray player, it’s not dual DVD and Blu-Ray.  These DVDs usually sell for between $21.99 and $29.49 so if there is a title you’d like to add to your DVD library, paying $2.95 shipping is well worth it in my opinion.

This actually does NOT work, and Disney doesn't respond to your emails about it either!!!

I don't see anywhere in the "My Account" section asking for my birthday. How do they know when my birthday is? Do I have to enter it somewhere special?

Yeah, I'm not seeing anywhere my birthday is listed, nor do I see anything about the offer in with their promotions or in the faq.

I only signed up last week and I seem to remember them asking for the birthdays of my children. When I started to try and collect points from my siblings who weren't using them, I found out they already had accounts. They also were raving about the free DVD they actually did get in the mail for being a member. What a deal!

I got my birthday Blu Ray. However, the only choice I had was High School Musical.

I was able to get national treasure for my recent birthday in March, so it works. I remember it being very hard to find the page to do it though.

does anyone know if this has to do with having a disney reward visa?

Reply

Heather September 3, 2010 at 4:59 pm

No, it has nothing to do with having a Disney Rewards Visa. It’s not a credit card promotion, it’s a Disney Rewards member promotion (free to be a member) but it may have not been extended to all members.
