*Expired* Free Android App: WeatherBug Elite ($1.99 value)

by Freebies4Mom on April 1, 2011 9:36 am

Download the WeatherBug Elite for $0.00 (normally $1.99) Friday only at the Amazon Android Appstore. Find more FREE apps for your Android phone (the list changes daily). I’ll continue to share the apps that are promoted as “free for a limited time” to help you save some money!

Android users can use the Amazon Appstore to load their phones with new applications, however AT&T customers are not yet able to access it (hopefully this will change soon).

This post contains affiliate links, which means Amazon pays me to promote their products. Of course I’d be sharing the free Android apps anyways, but it’s nice to get paid for some of the things I share. You have to order it through Amazon to get the $0.00 price.

Any idea why you still have to enter payment info to order the free app? I tried to order the free Angry Birds Rio via Amazon App store the other day and it still prompted me for payment information.

Amazon requires all customers to have a valid credit card on file even
if they are only “buying” free apps, eBooks, or music. I trust Amazon
with my credit card information and I know from my personal experience
that they offer the best customer service on the planet.

I was just gonna mention the credit card thing… I was worried about putting my info in but as long as its free and they dont charge it I guess its cool, I mean, the Android Marketplace has my charge info and its never been compromised downloading the free stuff 🙂

I really believe that Amazon is a retailer that can be trusted. I don’t
think there is any risk of being charged for something accidentally. And if
anything happens, simply contacting their Customer Service should resolve
any problems.

Thank you! I sent the information to my husband so we both have it on our Droids for FREE!
