by Freebies4Mom on September 19, 2009 7:03 am

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhIRjeunMaI]
Take a tour of my Frigidaire and find out exactly why I’m loving my appliance upgrade to a Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator. I can’t give away a new appliance to one of my readers, but I can give away two $200 Lowe’s eGift Card to help two of my lucky readers upgrade their appliances. Of course the winners can use that gift card on anything, but I’m hoping it will help them replace one of their appliances. And when choosing a new appliance don’t forget to take a look at Frigidaire.

Why Upgrade?
Calculate exactly how much cash an appliance upgrade will save you with the Frigidaire Energy Savings calculator. Just pick what describes your current appliance. I think one of the best reasons to upgrade to a new appliance is to get a more energy efficient model. Technology is changing fast, and the new appliances have the potential to significantly reduce your household’s energy consumption. Of course replacing a broken appliance is the primary reason to upgrade to a new appliance. And who new that a new appliance could save you so much time? In case you missed it, I listed the top 10 ways my Frigidaire saves me time. Ok, so you need an upgrade and you want to win that $200 eGift Card? Enter below and start dreaming of your new appliance!

The New Frigidaire Appliance Collection
Frigidaire just announced a new collection of more than 250 kitchen and laundry appliances designed to save you time. The goal is that these appliances will help give Moms more free time by working smarter. How can they work smarter? By offering new features such as a six-minute preheat time on their ovens, a dishwashing cycle that cleans in half the time, a dryer that lets you dry the entire family’s clothes at one time, and even washing/drying cycles that are synched to take the same amount of time. These sound like features that every mom could use – I know I could! I’m always looking for ways to get the same job done in less time.

How Can You WIN Frigidaire Appliances?
You can still enter daily to win a Frigidaire Affinity Washer/Dryer by simply taking the “Daily Dare” through Wednesday, September 23. Good luck!

I would definitely upgrade the fridge. It's so old I couldn't even donate the exact model that was in our basement when we moved here (and it worked).

I'd love a new dryer. Mine is almost 15 years old and the door is being held closed by duct tape!

Reply

Susan S. September 19, 2009 at 7:38 am

It's a tossup between our fridge and our stove…

Reply

Anonymous September 19, 2009 at 7:46 am

It would most definitely be our fridge. It is probably as old as the house (14 yrs).

Reply

Anonymous September 19, 2009 at 7:51 am

I wouldn't know where to start… the dryer eats my clothes, the fridge is too small, the dishwasher is too loud… I guess the dryer would be the one I would upgrade first! Thanks for the chance to win!

We are renting a fridge right because our's all of a sudden quit, so this would really be helpful.

We would upgrade our dryer. Its pushing 15 yrs old, and we've spent so much money repairing it in the last year. We could have bought a new dryer with all that repair money. Eek!

Most of my appliances could be upgraded, but my dishwasher needs it most. It is falling apart and with a family of eight we use it all the time.

I definitely need a new stove. I bought my house 4 years ago and the stove is the original from 1984!! Ugh, and it is soooo ugly, but it still works. Amazing!

I will need a new refrigerator very soon so I appreciate your demonstration. I will have my husband look at your presentation today.

I would definitely get a new fridge. The plastic runners that the bottom drawers slide off of all snapped off before I had them very long, so the drawers are just stacked on the bottom of the fridge and have to be manually lifted out to get access to the bottom one. It's a little frustrating!

Finally, after 19 years of marriage and living in the house I grew up in, we are upgrading our kitchen. No longer do I need to cook on a stove that was put in in 1964. My refrigerator was new to me, but bought used so it is over 20 years old. I love to cook and can't wait for the changes. I am definitely hoping for these Lowe's cards to help out with these changes! Thanks for the chance.

Awesome! My mom would love to replace our GE fridge with a Frigidaire. The GE fridge we have right now breaks down every 6 months or so and it's such a hassle to get it fixed even though we extended the warranty.

I would definitely upgrade my stove. The oven died approximately 2 months ago and the repairs would costs us 600 dollars!! I prefer to buy a new one.

I would upgrade my fridge. I hate that I have to put everything on the second shelf because the top (were the light is) drips water all over everything. And the freezer HA the fridge stays cooler.

Reply

Carolyn September 20, 2009 at 4:49 pm

I would definately get a new dishwasher. I am tired of the jet engine noise and things falling on the heating element and burning!

Reply

ChristineH September 20, 2009 at 4:57 pm

It would be a blessing if I won. I just found out why my washer isnt letting the water flow, because of some kind of stoppage, it's 15 years old, and my dryer is on the fritz also. I would upgrade my washer and dryer, hopefully to a combo, because I live in an apartment. That's why I wouldn't need a refrigerator.

Reply

wagenfour September 20, 2009 at 7:55 pm

Enjoyed the tour of your fridge.Would love to win the gift certificate. I would use it towards a new fridge. My fridge is about 20 years old and breaking down fast. It hasn't been keeping the food as cold as it should and even though the freezer is growing ice down the ice maker it too doesn't freeze as well as it should. I like the pull out tray and the soda holder on your fridge.Thanks. and even if I don't win it's really a terrific contest for anyone and it's great that you're doing it.wagenfour

I would upgrade our dishwasher, which was installed by our home's original owners in the 1970s. It was top-of-the-line at the time, but it doesn't clean like a modern dishwasher. It's also horribly loud and probably uses an obscene amount of water and electricity.

dishwasher for sure. I got a basic model and i would love something with more power.

Reply

I would use this to upgrade my oven. The oven in the house we're buying is older then me. This is especially rough for me since I'm leaving a two year old oven in the house we're selling.

We would definitely upgrade our refridgerator. Its pretty old and the appliance in most need of replacing!

I would love to have a new refrigerator. My current one is a side by side (came with the house 13 plus years) and the freezer is too small for me. The ice maker doesn't work right anymore. I would really like one of the new models with the fridge on top and the freezer on the bottom. So much more room in the freezer section.
