I had fun shopping for a costume for Arya, our 2-month-old german shepherd puppy. I selected a pumpkin costume that she could wear like a jacket because I didn’t think she would wear something on her head without trying to get it off. The pumpkin costume is a hit and I think she’ll wear it long enough to trick-or-treat with the boys.

I’m entering Pumpkin Arya in the Randall’s Hairy ‘N Scary Foto Contest. It’s super easy to enter this context, here are the steps:
Step #1 – Take a photo of your pet in costume
Step #2 – Click on the orange “Submit” button
Step #3 – Select your photo or post your photo on Facebook or Instagram
- If posting your photo on Facebook or Instagram
- Remember to use the hashtag #HairyNScary
- Also tag your local Albertsons Safeway owned grocery store
Step #4 – Caption your photo, fill out the entry form and select your local store
Browse the entries for inspiration to dress your own pet up. There are some great examples of costumes and gazing at pets in costume is pretty much guaranteed to make you smile or laugh! Please take the time to enter this contest and help support your local animal shelter.
