Home Depot Do-It-Herself Workshop

Sign-up for a free Do-It-Herself workshop at The Home Depot on Thursday, September 24 from 7 to 8:30 pm. The topic is “Kitchen Updates” which includes everything from cabinet refinishing to changing a faucet. In the past they have given attendees coupons or free stuff. I went to the last workshop and took home flowers that I potted myself at the workshop plus they had a doorprize giveaway for some larger potted plant arrangements. It was fun and a great reason to get out of the house by myself (without spending any money).

Don’t forget this Saturday at The Home Depot you can attend a free kids workshop to make a Bean Bag Toss from 9 am to noon. You will get all supplies needed for this project for FREE (a $9.97 value). Yes, these are nice kits and they actually sell them here but if you go to the kids workshop your kids get them for free! You won’t receive any paint, it’s optional to paint it at home. Plus first-time participants get a free apron. Every time you go you get a pin for the specific project you built to add to your apron and a certificate. At my store they always have leftover project kits from previous workshops, so you got to choose your project. They say that all stores are participating, and that no registration is required to attend. Happy building!
