*EXPIRED* Restaurant.com Deal

by Freebies4Mom on December 17, 2008 7:11 am

At Cashbaq you can buy a$25 Restaurant.com certificate for only $1.40 after cash rebate. You should only get charged $2 and then get 60 cents back by cash rebate. I’m not buying any because there aren’t any restaurants close enough that I’m interested in going to, but I wanted to pass along this deal for my readers who want to check it out.Be sure that you read the requirements and exclusions for each restaurant because they vary. Many require a minimum purchase at the restaurant in order to use a Restaurant.com gift certificate, and you can only use one certificate per visit.

Here’s how the price gets taken from $25 to $1.40:

1. $10.00 In Your Cart
$25 gift certificates are selling for $10 for most restaurants as the discounted price

2. $2.00 After discount code SANTA is entered

3. $1.40 After you get your 30% cash back from Cashbaq

Cashbaq is a great program that offers cash back rebates, and they mail out checks every month! Read about how I bought a “free after rebate” Entertainment Book with Cashbaq.

Wow, what a huge blessing this information was! I was just able to purchase several gifts I wouldn’t have been able to, if not for this deal! Thanks so much!!

I bought some yesterday and there is a catch. You can only use 1 certificate per month. But, these are great gifts for the proce.

Be aware that this is a great deal and I have used some certificates in the past, however, I had bought 2 and now the restaurant has stopped the program. Restaurant.com will exchange any certificates within 90 days to a new restaurant, but if it is after 90 days, your out of luck.Happy holidays ALL!

I’m confused.. you were actually able to enter the “Santa” code? Because for me, the entire “enter a discount code” form appears to be broken. It absolutely will not submit. I sent restaurant.com an email about this yesterday, and they haven’t gotten back to me.To anonymous above, when you say “one certificate per month”, do you mean per restaurant, or total?? Because I bought a whole bunch recently which I intend to use during an upcoming trip, and I’m going to be furious if I can only use one.

I contacted them and they said one certificate per month…..To all please read the terms and conditions before hitting that accept button. I also bought alot of them and now i will basically have to go to the restaurants 1 time a month for the next 10 months.

Oh god, that’s horrible. That also means you can’t buy certificates to give as presents, apparently. I bought six $25 giftcertificates (at $10 each) recently with the expectation taht I’d use them all around Xmas (because that’s the only time I’ll be in those cities). I wonder if they can help me.

I just sent them an email about this. NOWHERE on their website, in their FAQ or the Terms of Service does it indicate you can only use one per month. It only says “Limit one (1) redemption per party, per month, per restaurant.” I’m going to be furious if they say otherwise and refuse to refund my money.

I also bought a few of gift certificates and had the understanding that you can use 1 certificate per month for a specific restaurant, not that you can use only 1 per month total.
