Who knew there were so many ways to get products for free? Read my list and request your freebies as I highlight some current offers. The best offers are only available for a limited time, so the best way to learn about them is to subscribe to Freebies 4 Mom.

1. Ask for Free Samples
Get a sample of a product in your mailbox. The best source of free samples is Walmart.com because of the wide variety of products they offer and because their offers change weekly. But there are product samples being offered from lots of different companies, you just have to know which product websites to go to to.

Ask for your free sample of these products:
Cream of Wheat
Emergen-C
Quaker True Delights
Quaker Rice Cakes
Dove Shine Therapy Hair Care
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
Sunmaid Raisins Recipe Booklets (5 different recipe collections)

2. Ask for Free Products
When companies want to promote a product, they mail want to do more than send you a free sample – they may want to send you the full-size product just like you would buy in the store. Ocean Spray loves to send members of it’s clubs full-size products to try. Find out what other companies like to reward their fans with freebies.

Sorry, this promotion has ended. Playtex is mailing out their Playtex Drop-Ins System in an effort to help spread the word that their bottles are BPA-free.

3. Join “Word-of-Mouth” Marketing Campaigns
They are free to join and easy to participate in. They mail you products to try or offer you high-value coupons with the hope you will offer your feedback on the product and tell your friends about it. In this photo is the newest product SheSpeaks sent me to try – Emergen-C Kidz. Here are my favorite campaigns to join:

SheSpeaks
VocalPoint by Procter & Gamble
Pssst… by General Mills
Kraft First Taste

4. Ask for Coupons to Purchase Free Products
A great way for companies to offer you to try their product for free, is to mail you a coupon you can take to the store and redeem for a free full-size product. It’s cheap for companies to mail these coupons, and when you use the coupon you make a connection to where this product is located at your store. There are also some special high-value coupons out there that you can print, like the Johnson’s Buddies Soap, and take to most stores to buy it for free.

Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
Cascade Rinse Agent from Procter & Gamble
Johnson’s Buddies Soap

5. Play Daily Sweeps with Thousands of Winners
Feeling lucky? Well, you don’t have to be that lucky to win the daily instant win sweepstakes with thousands of winners.
Often you can win your prize after playing for just a few days. Often prizes are free products in the form of a coupon you can print or receive by mail.

Pace Hand Pick & Win Sweepstakes
1 in 20 win a free jar of salsa by printable coupon. There will be 120,000 winners total! And if you win, but have problems printing your coupon it’s easy to contact Pace and they’ll mail it to you.

6. Mail-In Rebates to “Try Me Free”
For the cost of a postage stamp, you can try products for free when a full rebate is offered by mail. Usually the mail-in rebate form will be found on the product itself in the form of a hang-tag, peelie, or inside the package. Sometimes the rebate form will even be available online to print. Read my Mail-In Rebate Tips for help in being a successful rebater.
