If you love a product, ask the company for coupons! Sometimes you will be pleasantly surprised by their response, other times you will get no response. The easiest way to do this is to go to the “Contact Us” page on the company’s website. You can also try calling their 1-800 number and see if you can talk to a customer service representative. When you contact the company it helps if you leave feedback or ask a question about their product. You can also ask if any coupons are available for their product. Sometimes they will send you coupons just for contacting them, no matter what the purpose of the contact was.

Of course, it’s easier to get coupons from companies who already have a form set-up specifically for your coupon request. Here are a few companies that have mailed me coupons when I filled out their forms and asked for them:

Ask J&J  Snack Foods for coupons on their frozen products just by clicking on the product you are interested in and looking for a coupon form. I got four great coupons in the mail – they are for 50 cents off (so my Kroger will double them) on frozen treats like Soft Pretzels and Luigi’s Italian Ice and the best part is that they are NED coupons (No Expiration Date). I am now getting coupons by mail from J&J; Snack Foods on a regular basis, the latest one was for 75 cents off any Whole Fruit Fruit Bar.

Contact StarKist Tuna and you may receive some coupons in the mail! When I submitted a comment about how great their Flavor Fresh Pouch packaging is, they sent me four coupons for 75 cents off 2 packages. These coupons weren’t as good as the coupons found in the Sunday paper, but I go through enough tuna that I was able to use them.

You can also ask your friends and family for coupons. Think about the people you see every week and the people you correspond with on a regular basis. Tell them what products you buy on a regular basis that you can often use coupons for. If they are fellow couponers, they may very well save coupons for you. For those who don’t clip coupons, they might just give you the entire coupon insert from their Sunday paper. The key is to ask, then to thank them for the coupons. Keep thanking them and they will keep giving you coupons (hopefully)!

You will be amazed by what coupons you can get when you just ask for them! Now it’s your turn to share – which companies are mailing you coupons when you ask for them?
