You missed this coupon but I’ve got more Coupons for you to save with.

I bought some Physician’s Formula make-up today at CVS. I will admit I was influenced in my choice of make-up by the bright pink sticker that said “TRY ME FREE!”. I thought it was one of the Physician’s Formula free-bates that Lori told me about on Hooray for Free-bates!. Alas, when I got home and looked closer at the sticker, it said the offer expired 6/30/07. No free-bate for me! But I stil got a great price on my entire purchase (including free M&M;’s). I guess they’ve got some old makeup on the shelves at CVS with some expired “Try Me Free” stickers – beware!

Today’s Coupon Tip is to always check the expiration date for rebates and coupons. It’s a bit embarassing to hand a cashier a coupon that has expired. The expiration date is the one item on the coupon that the cashier has been trained to always check. So, check the expiration date of your coupon before you buy an item. See a “Try Me Free” sticker on a product? Peel it back and read the expiration date before buying!
