A short coupon update this morning since I am still playing catch-up and also feeling under the weather. I had an unusual grocery shopping experience this week when going to Kroger to stock-up on everything since we had to completely empty our fridge/freezer during the 4-day power outage. I didn’t use any coupons at all, can you believe it? I had to wait in line to get into the grocery store since they were trying to avoid too many people inside the store and keep things orderly. Since it was an unusual shopping trip, it was a bit stressful for me. But Kroger had done an excellent job of restocking and I was able to find almost everything I wanted to buy. I decided that this was a non-coupon shopping trip in order to save me and the cashier some time. This was a rare example of a time when using coupons was not something I was interested in doing.

Jana – Glad to hear I’m not the only one who ditched the coupons this week! Hope everything is well with you and know you probably feel like me – so spoiled to have power again! I know there are tons of people who still don’t have power, some have left Houston facing an indefinite timeframe for power to be restored.
Love your blog! I too live in the houston are and had to throw out everything cold. I went grocery shopping today and did not use coupons for the firs ttime in years. There is a time and a place for everything and this was not the time or place for coupons.
Try the purple Quick Print, it works for some people who have trouble printing because it prints differently. It’s below the “Hottest 4 Coupons” in the right sidebar.
