*Expired* Have a House Party, Get Free Stuff

by Freebies4Mom on August 26, 2008 9:25 am

Like getting free stuff and sharing it with friends? So does Charlene, a Freebies 4 Mom reader, who recently hosted a Gerber Organic House Party. Also I heard from Angela and Rachael who are both hosting a Fisher-Price Play Date House Party. They got almost $300 worth of toys for their party – these are toys they get to keep and give to party guests!

House Party is like a free sampling program for you and your friends. Look at the list of current parties and apply for the ones that you would be interested in hosting. Answer the questions honestly in your application, because these companies aren’t necessarily looking for the biggest parties and richest hostesses. This is a word-of-mouth marketing campaign that gives companies an opportunity to let their customers do the advertising for them. If you host a House Party I’d love to hear about your experience!

I’m excited to get my Fisher Price packages this week! Having the party has motivated me to reach out and invite moms over for the party who are friends of friends or moms I’ve met only a couple times — which is good cause since I moved I really haven’t made many friends. On the Houseparty site they have one from Canon geared toward scrapbooking. They don’t say what the “scrapbooking tool” you will receive is — but I would bet it is a Canon Photo Printer.

For those that were selected more than once– did you get really active with the web site? I didn’t post pics and all that and I wonder if that hurts you for future parties?

I’ve applied for several HP for months, but have never been selected. But it’s nice to hear that real people are getting picked!

I did a Gerber DHA party about a year ago. I got SO much Gerber food – my guests loved it and my son had plenty to eat for months. A few months ago I hosted a Hershey Bliss party – and those chocolates were so good!House PArty is great. I applied for the FP party, but wasn’t selected. But they have parties all the time.

I had the Hershey Bliss and the Margaritaville parties. The Margaritaville one was awesome. They sent the maker ($299) and the party pack with an extra blender jar, lime/salt rimmer, extra ice tray and travel bag for the machine and a whole bunch of other stuff. I would have loved to host the FP one but one of my friends is doing that one so I am happy for her 🙂 I can’t host them all I guess!

I am hosting a Fisher Price party as well. I did the Gerber and loved it! Cannot wait to get all the kiddos in my home to play with the fun new toys they shipped to me!

I love, love, love house party. I’ve hosted 3 different parties and it’s a great excuse to invite friends over and share new things with them. I’ve won the Hershey Bliss party, the Hillshire Farms party, and the Ben 10 Alien Force party. I kinda think I’ve reached my limit, I haven’t won any in a while 😉

I tried for the FP but didn’t get it, but I did get the Hershey’s Bliss (chocolates) earlier this year. I got 9 bags of the 3 flavors of chocolates, a bunch of gift bags and treats to put inside (pens, magnets, grocery pads, napkins, and 1 photo album to give as a prize). It was great and so easy to do. I really recommend this site as they ship everything you really need, and all you do is throw the party! There also was a Margaritaville party recently that they sent margarita makers to ($200 appliance). It’s a great way to have a party!

My first package for the Fisher-Price Playdate arrived yesterday. Included were batteries, gift bags, tissue paper, coupons, and a toy guide book. My toys should be arriving later this week. I am so excited to be getting all of this free stuff!!!
