Print coupons without turning on your computer. I didn’t know this was even possible until I tried the HP Photosmart Premium Printer with TouchSmart Web. When HP contacted me about test-driving this new printer, I was mostly excited about the high-quality photo printing capabilities. But by far the best feature is that my HP printer is connected to the internet without the need for a computer to even be connected to it. I can print coupons, print maps, print coloring pages, print photos from my Snapfish account, and even print today’s news all directly from my printer. Want to see how it works? Watch this demo to see this printer in action.

Thanks to HP, I’m giving one of my lucky readers the HP Photosmart Premium Touchsmart Web All-in-One Printer (retail price of $399). Be sure to fill out the form below to enter this giveaway, and check out the trade-in offer to save $50 on this printer while recycling your old printer.

Favorite 4 Features
I could go on and on about how wonderful my new HP Photosmart Premium printer is, but I wanted to highlight my favorite four features for you to get a feel for exactly how much this printer can do (more than I ever imagined). You can also watch this printer in action.

My printer…

is web connected without a computer

prints photos that look like professional

uses individual color ink cartridges

does it all (print, scan, copy, fax)

Web Connected Printer
Guess what? This is the first printer of it’s kind – it’s more like it’s own computer because it’s directly connected to the internet. It has TouchSmart Web which means there’s a screen you can touch to browse the applications and enter information. It kind of works similar to my iPhone – and it’s so intuitive to use that even my 2-year-old can navigate it (this means he can print all the coloring pages he wants). My favorite application is printing coupons from Coupons.com. It’s so easy for me to check now to see if there are new coupons, even if I’m about to head out the door and don’t have time to turn my computer on!

Print Photos that look Professional
Boasting “lab-quality photos” I had to put my printer to the test. There is a separate tray to hold photo paper and the photo printing results are impressive. When you look at a 4×6 photo that just printed, it looks like a photo you may have ordered from a photo lab. But you just printed it! Even better you can edit your photos directly on your printer (fix red eye, crop, zoom) and you can print 8.5×11 photos without any borders.

Individual Color Ink Cartridges
I’ve always wanted a printer that has individual color ink cartridges because it makes sense to replace each color as needed because I can tell that I use each color at a different rate. My printer uses these individual ink cartridges: black, cyan, magenta, yellow, and photo black. They are priced between $9.99 and $11.99 each, but if you buy them bundled together they cost even less. And I’ll be sharing my tips on how to take advantage of store discounts to buy your ink cartridges at deep discounts in my “Frugal Printing Tips” series over the next two weeks.

All-In-One Printer
This is the first “all-in-one” printer that I’ve owned and I must admit I was foolish for not getting one sooner. I can’t believe how much time I’m saving by being able to scan and copy documents so easily (and I can do that without even turning my computer on). I can also set-up this printer to send faxes. I’ll never pay for copies again since I’ve got my own printer that copies – it even can enlarge and reduce documents and print double-sided. I’m a big fan of “all-in-one” printers now, it’s the perfect way to save time and money by being able to do everything myself.

$50 Trade-In Offer
Want to save $50 on a new HP Photosmart Premium printer and recycle your old printer? Check out this $50 trade-in offer. You can get $50 off either in-store or online by following the steps described. HP even will give you a pre-paid label to ship your old printer for free!

Happy Halloween from HP Creative Studios
Everything you need to print your way to a Happy Halloween. One of my favorite free printable projects are the Halloween Costume Masks. Of course there are also several collections of pumpkin carving templates if you want to do something new with your pumpkin.

Share Your Frugal Printing Tips
I’ve asked my readers to share their frugal printing tips and almost 200 have responded! So over the next two weeks I’ll be sharing my own tips, highlighting a few features of my new printer, and sharing your tips. I hope this will be an interactive tip-sharing session and I encourage you to share your frugal printing tips by answering four questions right now.
