Jenna over at Food with Kid Appeal is having me host a giveaway for Dave Grotto’s book, 101 Foods That Could Save Your Life. One lucky reader will win this book. Please read below for how to enter this giveaway – it’s a two-step entry but very easy to do!
Jenna blogs about healthy food that appeals to kids and offers suggestions to parents of picky eaters to help their kids overcome food aversions and try new food. She has been lacing her kid-friendly healthy-fare recipes and family feeding advice with Dave Grotto’s research for weeks and is finally ready to share a copy of the book with one of my readers. Dave’s book spells out why each of the 101 foods, spices and beverages can improve our health by preventing cancer, helping with weight maintenance, contributing to heart health, reducing inflammation, reducing macular degeneration, lowering cholesterol, controlling blood sugar levels and improving brain function.
Whether you’re on a mission to get your kids or your husband eating better, you’re bound to discover health promoting foods (watermelon, pistachios, wasabi) and beverages (hot chocolate, tea, coffee) your loved one will savor.
How to enter this giveaway:
For your chance to win, visit Jenna’s review of Dave’s book here, and tell her why you want to know more about healthy food in the comment section. Then come back here and fill out my giveaway entry form.

Would love to hear your input on foods & keeping healthy w/ those foods. Its so important to keep our bodies strong & healthy especially when we have little ones around watching our every move.
This is wonderful. Now that my husband is on kidney dialysis we need ways to eat healthy
What a great idea. You are always reading about what types of food are good, but this sounds even better.
I’ve heard of different foods that are good for you but in snippets here and there. How great to have it all in one place!
I have been battling my weight for years and unfortunately my daughter had become obsessed with hers. My son is just not a healthy eater at all although he is thin. We all could benefit from this book. Thanks for offering!
I tried leaving a comment on jenna’s page, but got stuck on the word verification section, it kept saying “loading” in the box and never loaded. Here is what I wrote to jenna:My 4-year-old has numerous food sensitivities and allergies and I have had such a hard time figuring out how to feed him. I worry that his problem developed because of additives in his food. Now I am also worried that my other kids might develop similar problems. I’d like to give my family an optimal diet to help them resist problems like these in the future.ponczocha@
