Get a free meal on Friday, July 9 is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A when you dress like a cow. Why would you want to dress like a cow? It’s fun and you get a free combo meal at Chick-fil-A when you fully dress as a cow. They’ve also got a cow costume kit to print plus photo contests to enter.
Last year we didn’t dress like cows, but we did go thru the drive-thru for lunch that day and they gave us a big cow sticker and a coupon for a FREE Chicken Salad with the purchase of a medium Dr. Pepper. So even if you don’t dress like a cow, it’s still worth stopping by on Cow Appreciation Day because they might be passing out special coupons again to everyone – and it’s fun to see people dressed-up.
I’d love to hear from any of my readers who plan to participate this year or participated last year!

We went this year and we had so much fun. My kids loved it and we all got free meals. We saved over $20. We can’t wait until next year!
Me and my motley crew of 4 boys are going this evening and try to get the free meals . . . I made the sandwich board signs for them that read “EAT MOR CHIKIN”, “I LUV FREE CHIKIN”, “DID SUMBODE SAY CHIKIN?” and “MY MOM FEEDZ US CHIKIN”
We’ll be adding spots and the ears and nose to make a “complete” outfit in hopes of a totally free dinner!
My daughter dressed up last year, and it was great fun. Whole groups of coworkers dressed up and came in as we ate. Enjoyable for all!
We took my daughter last year and were surprised at the people getting free combos. They taped paper spots to their clothes. Some even painted spots on their arms or just pinned a paper that said eat more chicken. The rules say a full costume gets you a free combo or a partial one a free sandwich. It all depends on where you go and what they want to give you.
We are definitely participating. The first time was a couple years ago we happened to show up on the day and had no clue. They gave us a hat to wear and we got a free sandwhich. One year I had a newborn and hubby and son went and brought me some home. Last year we missed because we were out of town. We are planning to this year because it will save us about $20 not buying 4 meals!
