Great American Cookies will be celebrating the kickoff of National Cookie Month Monday, October 1 by giving FREE chocolate chip cookies to customers all day long. The cookie giveaway will help to kick off the company’s month long literacy campaign; Reading is SWEET, taking place at Great American Cookies locations nationwide. Throughout October, customers can receive a free cookie of their choice by donating a new or gently read book at their local Great American Cookies store. All books collected at each store will be offered as a donation to a local branch of the public library or a local charity.
