“I’ve never been a coupon user and now I’m a convert after being on your website.” -Linda
It’s fun to hear things like this from my readers! I’m glad I’ve converted a few of you to being coupon users!
I’ve added cereal to my list of things I’ll never pay for again, thanks to coupons. I took advantage of this week’s CVS deal and got more free cereal. Here’s a printable coupon to Save $1 on Honey-Nut Cheerios that I used for this deal. It seems there is always a coupon and a deal somewhere that can get you free cereal – if you aren’t too picky about what type of cereal it is, of course.

Andrea says check your receipt!!! She wrote “I finally heard back from Customer Service regarding the Wish-Bone coupon ($.75) not coming off my purchase. They asked for the Store name, address and coupon that did not come off. They said a credit would be placed on my card within 1-2 weeks to get that amount off any purchase. The Credit is suppose to be rounded up to the nearest dollar. I am keeping an eye out for the credit. Still have to be careful and check your receipts….I had a P&G; coupon (loaded from Kroger) not come off my purchase the other day (B1G1 Ivory Soap) so I should be getting a $3.50 credit for that as well. This is the 1st time I had a problem with a P&G; coupon, all others have come off purchase. I now compare my list of loaded coupons on Kroger card that I intended to use against my purchase to verify the coupons came off. Still a great program to use in addition to paper coupons.”
Wishing you a great week of coupon savings!
Thank you for this info. I am new to this but I just won a movie ticket! I also had trouble with the coupons it said it needed to down load and then it just shut everything down and no coupon will try the advise! Thanks again!!
Hi Heather,I did speak to the customer service desk at Kmart (assuming the person was a manager, which maybe they were not) and they confirmed the coupon had to be an original. I stated twice that I printed the coupon from their own website but they still said no. I just emailed Kmart customer service and will let you know what they say. Thanks for all your hard work to find us great deals and for making mail fun again!
Tracey – I am so sorry you had a bad experience trying to use the Kmart toy coupon! If you go back, ask to speak to the manager about the coupon. I tend to believe this may have been a problem specific to the cashier and not to Kmart stores in general. This reminds me of a printable coupon that Sears issued a few months ago and that I printed from their website. All of the cashiers at all of the stores were told a few days after the coupon was issued not to accept it. This was a coupon that they issued, and they were acting like it was fraudulent and stopped accepting it. And it’s ironic that Sears and Kmart are the same company now – isn’t it. It’s called poorly running a promotion – I think Lowe’s has done this as well. These companies do not anticipate the volume of interest they receive in their printable coupons and then handle it poorly and upset their customers. Thanks for leaving a comment, Tracey – please keep me updated if you head back to Kmart!
I went to K-Mart today with the $5 coupon I printed from THEIR website and they would not honor it. They said it had to be an original not a copy. Since I was in a store with a crying baby, I was completely overheated and there was a language barrier I left without putting up a stink and without the toy I went to purchase. I will keep you posted if I follow up with an email to K-Mart and get any feedback.
I had never “shopped” at CVS before. Sure I had gone there for perscriptions and odds and ends, but never with a list or a plan. What a fool I have been. Thank you so much for this post. I went there today and got $98 worth of stuff for $61. I still have $8 left of ECB. I am just so happy! Thank you for giving me one more way to stretch my dollar.
Kristin – Visit Brandcaster.com to apply to be an affiliate with Coupons.com. This is a new affiliate program that just started last week.
Strange I am hearing a few people having problems with the Johnsons coupon. The only idea I had was to recommend right clicking on the link (instead of left clicking) and then select “Copy Shortcut” so you can copy the URL into a new window.
Morgan – You need to visit Money Saving Mom for the complete details on the cereal deal (link is in this post). Basically you buy 6 boxes of cereal (I bought Honey Nut Cheerios and Fiber One) for $4 a box and then you use manufacturers coupons for $1 off each box hopefully and a $3/$15 CVS coupon if you have them (my coupon came from a Pharmacy tearpad) and you use your Extra Bucks to pay for it and you get $10 Extra Bucks back. I was able to get free cereal this way – I paid less than $1 out of pocket, used $10 Extra Bucks and got $10 Extra Bucks back.
I think there is an issue with the J&J; Buddie coupon because I couldn’t print it from your link, but I was able to from another page. Thank you for posting all of this! The Land O’Lakes coupons will really come in handy since SS is out of school for the summer and he’s got quite an appetite!Brandyhttp://imnotyouraveragesoccermom.blogspot.com
