Mark your calendar because Friday, July 11 is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A, where you get rewarded for dressing like a cow. It’s usually on July 13, but this year that lands on a Sunday when they are closed. I’ve heard that some stores are even having a “Costume Prep Party” where they are helping you make your costume.
Thanks to Need A Nap 2 for this comment she left on Freebie Friday:
“Last year we were able to get free meals (adult combo, 3 kids) just by putting black dots (cut-out circles colored with black Sharpie) on our face and hands. I think we were supposed to get free fries but they gave us meals instead!”
I’d love to hear from any of my readers who participate this year!
Don’t forget to dress up like a cow & get free chicken on July 11.http://www.cowappreciationday.com
this is so funny dressing up like a cow we might have to try this!
Thanks for the link and explanation of the date this year!! :)
It is my understanding (at least where I live) that chick-fil-a gives a free chicken sandwich to anyone with a New church bulletin from that Sunday….I’ve never done it – we don’t have a store near us but I have friends who use it all the time. Worth checking into….
