The Home Depot is offering a free kids workshop to make a whistle fire truck on Saturday, October 4 from 9 am to noon. They say that all stores are participating, and that no registration is required to attend. The fire truck looks really cool, and I think there’s a wooden whistle to go with it. I’d be thrilled to get a photo from one of my readers who makes this with their kids to share on next month’s post about Home Depot’s Kids Workshop. Happy building!
My husband took my son today – and because of Fire Safety month not only did they have the fire engine craft – but they had a fire truck and police car there for the kids to see and go in. It’s a great program!
We usually attend these workshops every month, we totally forgot it was today. I just wanted to say how great it is though. The kids have always gotten a free Home Depot apron, all materials needed to make the project, after completing the project they get a certificate, pin and a temporary tatoo. What a great way to spend a saturday with your child and it doesn’t cost anything!
