Thanks to Suzanne for reminding me of these great ice cream offers for today and tomorrow. I don’t plan on visiting either store, but I want to hear from my readers who do – please leave a comment and tell us about your frugal ice cream experience!
Tuesday’s Offer from Ben & Jerry’s
It’s the 30th Annual Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s. I expect they’ll be a little busier than usual, but you might as well stop by if you will be in their neighborhood today. It will be a party for sure!
Wednesday’s Offer from Baskin-Robbins
Baskin-Robins is honoring America’s firefighters with 31 Cent Scoop Night from 5 to 10 pm. Why not make it a family affair and go out for dessert that evening? I’ll be skipping this event too because my toddlers don’t need to know what ice cream is just yet. But if your kids already know about the cold stuff, go ahead!
Sounds like a zoo, Morgan! That’s one reason I did not even attempt to go – but you never know how many people know about it and how well prepared they are for the event. Thanks for sharing your experience!
So we went to the Baskin-Robbins ice cream night last night and I kid you not there must have been 100 people in line. We decided not get any and go to store and pay full/sale price for it, .31 was not worth it with a 1 year old and a 4 year old at 7:30 at night. But we WILL be doing the Dip’n’Dots on the 20th. No matter how long the line is! Thanks Heather for the great site.
It’s great to hear from one of my readers who enjoyed free ice cream today – thanks for reporting back, Jrbyrd27! And thanks for the reminder about Haagen-Dazs – I’ll post it the day before as a reminder!
We had our free cones tonight, we took our 4 year old and it was great. They had a band playing to help pass the time while we waited in the line, which wasn’t that bad!I had the Half Baked, yummy! Hagen Daz will also have free scoops on May 13th of their new flavor, Honey Bee Vanilla. I love this free ice cream, it’s great for the kids too.
