One of the ways I thank other blogs that refer their readers to Freebies 4 Mom is by featuring them in my Hottest Blogroll. It’s also a great way to help my readers find the hottest new content because the title of the most recent post from each blog is displayed in the blogroll. At a quick glance you can see what other blogs are talking about in my left sidebar.
Bloggers: Did you know that for most of the blogs on my Blogroll that I send them more traffic than they send me? In one case, I sent a blog 4x as much traffic as they sent me during the same month. Does that motivate you to try to get on my Blogroll? Bloggers have a chance to be added to my Hottest Blogroll each month. At the beginning of each month I update it with the ten blogs that sent the most referral traffic to Freebies 4 Mom from their blog the previous month by looking at referral traffic in Google Analytics. The list changes a little each month and it’s an opportunity that any blog can take advantage of because the last blog on the list sent me only about 100 visitors over the entire month of September. Popular posts for bloggers to share include Sweeps 4 Mom and Giveaways or any category that you don’t usually post about.
