I’m doing sweeps by the number of winners this week, you decide where you want to stop on the list. All of them take 1 or 2 minutes each to enter if you follow my tips. An exception is the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter puzzle, so I’ve listed it last.
A Big Winner
Guess what Renee won? Batman: The Dark Knight film cell. ARV: $85.75 Wow! She was one of 100 lucky instant winners of this prize! Congratulations, Renee! Before I know it, one of my readers will be the grand prize winner on one of the sweeps!
How do I remember to enter my daily sweeps?
Michelle sent me this question:
“I have never been a fan of “sweepstakes” until reading about some of the prizes you’ve won. My question is, specifically about the instant win / one a day entries…how do you keep track of them and “remember” to visit again the next day? I find myself entering once, and then forgetting to enter every day after that.” -Michelle
Here’s my response:
Guess what? I’m with you on not being a fan of sweepstakes either – I felt they were too time consuming to enter and very disappointing to feel like I almost never won. But now I’ve found the more rewarding sweeps and instant wins – smaller prizes that are more numerous means it’s easier to win – lots are daily entries and it is a little harder to remember to enter these.
I have a calendar by my computer that is only for Sweepstakes. I check off each day after I’ve entered my sweeps. I enter all of my daily sweeps at one time during the day. I use my own blog to help me. I click on “Sweeps” in the menu bar, and then I go down the list. The first posts I see are any new sweeps that have recently been added. I stop after I get to my weekly Sweeps 4 Mom list that I post each Saturday.
One thing to remember is that if you aren’t having fun entering the daily sweeps – then stop doing it! I want you to spend your time wisely! And to tell you the truth, sometimes I miss a day of entering because the day just gets away from me – but that’s ok! Tomorrow I can try to win again!
What did you win this week? Are you playing the sweeps with me? Please leave a comment!
WOOHOO!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR TELLING ME ABOUT THE SUPERVALU BATMAN SWEEPSTAKES. Sorry … did not mean to SCREAM but I am so excited…I WON the Batman Film Cell from General Mills (1 of only 100) top prize worth $89. This is incredible. It is only the second thing I have one in my entire life. Thanks again! -Cristy
I just got a sweeptakes notice in my inbox from Johny Rockets. Its call “Meet the Other You”. You could win a 7 night cruise with caribbean cruise, six flags coupons, or eat at johny rockets for a year! It says everyone is a winner. I didnt win the grand prize but i won a free hamburger coupon in the instant win game, also i recieved a coupon for a free shake with purchase for fowarding this deal to my friends.
I didn’t write down the notification date, but I’ll let everyone know once I hear from some of my readers who won!
Heather,Do you happen to know when you can find out if you won with the Quaker contest?
Just my 2nd day trying on the Subway and I’ve won a bag of chips. Thanks for posting these and other freebies!
I won a free bag of subway chips- yummy! Will go this week to redeem as ‘offer’ expires July 3rd. Of course, I’ll buy a sub while I’m there, but healthy and worth it anyways. Thanks Heather!
I don’t remember, I let you do it for me! ;)Seriously, thanks for posting both the sweeps and the reminders!
I created a folder within my bookmarks menu on my browser called “sweepstakes.” Then I just go through each day and enter the sweeps that I’ve saved in the list. The I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter One is time-consuming, but I really like jigsaw puzzles and haven’t done any “real” ones beyond the preschool level for a while now, so I find it fun and relaxing. If I ever win something from that one, it will be a bonus!
How to remember? I like the calendar idea except that I do mine on my Yahoo mail calendar. I also send myself an email that reoccurs daily. I do that for a lot of things though. I am trying to be more organized using my computer rather than a printed calendar, post it notes etc. I’ve linked to this post for my readers. Thanks for the info!Ginger
I keep a list on my blog of all the daily contests I know of, sorted by when they end. That way I can just go down the list each day, and if I don’t have time to do them all (which I rarely do anymore), I can at least enter the ones that end soonest.I’m not sure if you’ve mentioned this before, but there are applications that auto-fill forms for you (such as Fireform, if you’re using Firefox), which makes it so much easier and less time consuming to enter a ton of contests. I tend to skip any contest that uses a flash-based form that I can’t autofill.Hm.. I don’t think I’ve actively won anything this week, but I did receive a pack of Crest Whitening strips that I won previously, and Dove sent me some stuff simply for entering a contest (a *really* nice totebag containing full-sized shampoo, conditioner and lotion, and a tshirt that unfortunately is too big for me).
I won 3-4 bags of chips on the Subway one, plus a free movie ticket. Just took a few days of trying! Haven’t had any luck with anything else.
I CANNOT get subway to send me a free clue. I click HINT but they dont send anything. What am I doing wrong? ANyone besides me NEVER win anything?
