Joy’s son loves The Home Depot workshops, and she sent me this photo when he made the Firetruck whistle.
I’m taking my son to The Home Depot today for a free kids workshop to make a Hardware Sorter from 9 am to noon. They say that all stores are participating, and that no registration is required to attend. Happy building!
Even if you don’t attend the Kids Workshop today, you might be interested in the five free workshops they offer this weekend. Check the schedule for day and time on the topics of Interior Painting, Installing Laminate Flooring, Deck Installation, Installing Ceiling Fans, and Easy Window Projects.
And don’t forget you can still enter my $500 giftcard giveaway. Plus I’ve got a frugal Father’s Day project to share with you on Monday and will be offering a $100 giftcard for one of my readers to have a very Happy Father’s Day.
Yesterday I made a purchase atTheHomeDepot.com thru Ebates because I needed a light fixture that was only available online. Ebates has increased the cash back to 5% and they gave me a coupon code DEPOTDAD69 to Save $10 on $100 or more purchase (valid until 6/10) that I was able to use on my purchase. I didn’t get free shipping, but I was really pleasantly surprised how little shipping was (only 6% of my subtotal) so with the $10 coupon code and cash back my shipping was more than covered. This was the first time I had purchased something online from The Home Depot and I had a great experience. I wouldn’t have known about the coupon code if Ebates wouldn’t have told me about it!

we love the kids workshops. we do them every month if we can. it's always a chance for dd and dh to go something together. and I end up helping dd at one or two. Like the big one in Oct. here b/c it's our fire safety workshop and DH works it. so I always get to help build at that one.
