No purchase is required in order to use this coupon for a free Thomas Wooden Train at Toys ‘R Us this weekend – Saturday & Sunday. You get to choose from four wooden trains: Thomas the Tank Engine, Lights & Sound Percy, Sir Handel, or Peter Sam. A big thanks goes to Kim who sent me this coupon (and emails me great tips on a regular basis). The coupon is a PDF file, so you’ll need Adobe Reader to view and print it (free to download and use).
Of course these will go flying off the shelves, so better try to get one on Saturday if it works into your weekend plans! If you are there between 12 to 2 pm on Saturday remember that it’s the Little People 50th Birthday and you can pick-up a free DVD!

Thanks for the tip.. I love this website… I was able to get the Lights & Sounds Percy ($17.99) each I got one for each of my girls..
Got ours today! Our TRU let us redeem one for each kid! They only had Thomas left, but there seemed to be TONS of them. Thank you for posting this, my boys are playing trains as I write this!
I took my son today (17 months old) to TRU and my Husband and I were able to get a train each. He took the Thomas th Train (12.99) and I grabbed the Lights & Sounds Percy ($17.99). I was amazed at this awesome deal!! Thank You so much for letting us know about it. My son played with the Thomas the Train table they had out and then he also received the gift bag from the Little People event they hosted so it was an awesome trip to TRU today!!! THANK YOU!!!
thanks for the heads up.. I have posted a picture of the two trains I got today for free. Thomas and Lights & Sounds Percy. I also got the baggie from Little People for the Birthday celebration.
Thanks for letting us know about this deal. The value of this little train in our stores is $18! Wow!I posted the photo of one of the four trains on my site to make it easier to find. They did not have them on display and I couldn’t locate someone to help me. No big deal, I found it on aisle 9e, hopefully this will make it easier for you to locate. Here is the link: http://www.frugalfairhope.com/?p=1433This is such a great little toy, I think I am going to use it as a birthday gift. We have a lot of birthday parties coming up this summer.Frances
I got to use the coupon!!! I managed to figure out what the numbers meant on the coupon and match them up to the correct train. No problems going through the line. Can’t believe though that they were $11.99 and FREE! If the lights and sounds one was the one I looked at (didn’t chance it as there was only one) it was $17.99!!!
thanks for the train coupon. I can’t believe the store wasn’t packed.
THANK YOU! We had a wonderful afternoon coloring, and my daughter is excited to watch her new video. We were able to get two trains to donate to our local library — they have a train table in the children’s section and there are never enough trains to go around! Thank you Heather and Toys R Us!
Thanks so much! I printed 2 coupons and I got 1 and my MIL got 1 too! My kids were SO excited!
Thanks for the link. We went this morning. My husband and I each got a train and then we got the Little People DVD. I like shopping at Toys R Us for free. We have 2 birthday parties this weekend and this helped us out.
Just picked ours up although I was a little disappointed that they would not let my son redeem his own coupon. I understand that the quantities are limited but I think the coupon shouldn’t say “One per guest” if they really mean one per adult, household, or family. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for the tip!
Response to Comment #7 – They must still accept them if they are still emailing them out! This coupon came directly from Toys ‘R Us, I did not get it on one of the forums. Of course I don’t know if all of the Toys ‘R Us locations accept the printable coupons that corporate issues. I would recommend that you call your local store to confirm that they will accept this coupon before making a special trip. Sometimes coupon acceptance policies vary by store.-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom
I thought TRU did not accept coupons printed online anymore ???
Thanks so much, I will let my sister know! She is raising her one year old granddaughter and she never knows about any of these things!!!
Thanks for sharing! I posted the info on my blog with a link to you!!
Wendy – Thanks for the reminder – I didn’t forget but was in such a hurry to get this posted. Just added the Little People Birthday Party link to the post!-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom
