Update: Read the comments, a few readers have had a tough time getting their rebate. It’s always a good idea to copy all items before you submit them, and follow-up with the company if you don’t receive your rebate as expected. You’d love to try one of these for free – right? I found Organix Shampoo and Conditioner at Kroger and Target. They have to have the “Try Me Free” hangtag in order to fill out the mail-in-rebate form. Find out what other stores carry this product here. My hangtag says this “Try Me Free” offer expires on December 31, 2010 – so don’t be in a hurry to try to find one. They were priced at $6.99 at my Kroger and my Target.
I sent my rebate in a year ago. They contacted me via mail and said because I purchased the product at Loblaws (Atlantic Superstore) that it wasn’t applicable. I asked them to mail me back my receipt. They have not.

I got a check in the mail from Organix! Fun thanks!
I got mine free after rebate with no problem. I did a deal when Wags had buy one get one free. So I bought 2 at 6.99 and got the rebate back. They even sent me a 2.00 off coupon.
I wish I would have seen these posts as I fell for the fake rebate also!
Just wanted to let you all know that about 2-3 months ago, Walgreens had a deal with Organix-BIGI Free. I used the Try Me Free tag and submitted it. I recv'd an email from the company about 3 weeks ago saying that they recv'd my rebate form and the check was being processed, and I got my rebate check last week :)
This product is garbage and the company in not reputable. They had, and still have, a promotion where if you buy the product to try, they will refund you the full amount once you mail in the receipt and coupon. However there have been 100s of complaints because they did not follow through with this offer and scammed many people out of a lot of money. BUYER BEWARE!
I bought the Coconut leave-in spray condition about 2months ago at Target and sent in the rebate and just got the check about a week ago. So it took a while but check cleared! Love this product – wish it weren't so pricey!
Vogue International's rebate division has a rating of F by the BBB! I purchased $7 conditioner at Sears with a Try Me Free tag. They denied the rebate because “Product was not purchased at an authorized retailer.” On the rebate form there was no mention of which stores were authorized. I suggest making a complaint through their website, over the phone, and with the store manager. In my case the manager agreed that that was wrong and offered a refund.
I never got my rebate and its been about 5 months… I think it’s a scam. I’ve sent an email 2 weeks ago but got no response
I just got my check today. They sent me $6.54, $1.00 more than what I paid for !It seems to be legitimate this time.
On the back of the rebate it says that you can only submit ONE (1) rebate per household. Does that mean that you cannot get a shampoo AND conditioner?
Oh great. I got the shampoo and JUST sent in the rebate form today….without making a copy. Shucks! Lesson learned. Didn’t get an extra receipt either, so I doubt I can return it. I noticed that when I was filling out my rebate for Ensure that it was the same rebate company. Does that mean I won’t get that rebate either? If companies put rebate forms out there on their products, they sure as heck better start honoring them, or I will sure as heck turn around and report them to the BBB! I would NEVER have gotten either of those products if I was going to have to pay for them!
I got my rebate, but only after calling them.
I submitted my rebate form a few weeks ago, and seeing as how I don’t even know if my scanner works, and I don’t have a copy machine (true, I could’ve gone to the library), I didn’t make a copy of anything I sent in. I like Anonymous’ (8:33am) idea, contacting the manufacturer. I wish I had gotten a duplicate receipt so I could just return the shampoo and forget about the rebate if it probably won’t come. :(
Has anyone actually contacted the manufacturer directly to let them know that the rebate company they are using is not getting the rebates out in a timely manner?
I never got my rebate although I did like the shampoo and conditioner. I noticed on the form that it said that they were not responsible for “lost” entries. It made me wonder if they planned on “losing” many of them!
Add me to the list of people who never got the rebate. I tried in July 2008 and after several calls, etc., I got no where and gave up. Cost too much time – not worth spending so much of my time.
I bought mine over a year ago and never got my rebate. I tried emailing the company and didn’t get a response. I should try calling them. But if you google “Organix rebate” you’ll come up with tons of angry people who got their rebates only after repeatedly pestering the company or who never received it at all. I don’t recommend doing this – too much hassle!
I would not recommend this rebate at all. I never got my rebate despite calling the company and with the economy the way it is- how many folks are buying 7 shampoo if you cant try it free?
I can never find any “try me free” product with the label in my area ! It was the same thing with all the SURE deodorant and I could never participate. I wonder why ??
There was a similar offer several months back on this product and I know many people never received their rebate, some had success after calling the company.
I saw these at CVS the other day. I think they were 6.99.
How much are the shampoo and conditioners going for?
