Make a Date with ExerciseMy #BeActiv goal for 2015 is to exercise and take my vitamins and dietary supplements daily toĀ help me achieve better health. By writing both of those healthy actions on my calendar I will remember how important they are to reach my goal andĀ I will be accountable to myself. I was thinking back to the time when I’ve had my best level of fitness since I became a mom of two. When my kids were younger, I would take them to an outdoor stroller fitness class almost every day. One of the reasons I was successful at attending classes on a regular basis is simply that I wrote it on my calendar. So, I’m using that strategy again and writing exercise classes on my calendar every day because exercise is an important part of my overall health. I’ve also been thinking about why I’ve been so forgetful about taking my vitamins and dietary supplements every day. I feel like it’s not part of my normal routine yet, so I’m writing “Vitamins” on my calendar each day with three boxes next to it to check. I take vitamins and/or dietary supplements at breakfast, lunch and dinner so when I take them I can put a checkmark in the box on my calendar.

Are you reaching yourĀ daily https://viactiv.com/recommended amount of Calcium?

One of the dietary supplements I’m taking isĀ ViactivĀ® to ensure that I reach my daily recommended calcium of 1000 mg each day.Ā My favorite way to do thisĀ is to takeĀ ViactivĀ®Ā Calcium Soft Chews in Caramel as a great-tasting dietary supplement. I take my ViactivĀ®Ā after lunch and dinner and they are super easy to throw into my purse if I’m eating out because they are individually wrapped.Ā One ViactivĀ®Ā Calcium Soft Chew taken twice daily provides 100% of the daily value of calcium for most women plus vitamins D & K. They are intended to help achieve recommended daily dietary levels of these nutrients as a supplement to diet/food sources. ViactivĀ®Ā is part of the three keys to healthy bones: Ā 1)Ā Obtaining an adequate daily dose of calcium from your diet, 2) Regular bone strengthening exercises and 3)Ā Supplementing when diet is not enough. Since I know that I’m falling short on my recommended daily calcium from food sources on some days, it’s reassuring to know thatĀ ViactivĀ® can help me reach it each day. I want to do everything I can to maintain good bone health and reduce my risk ofĀ osteopenia and osteoporosis later in life.
