by Freebies4Mom on June 25, 2012 8:55 am

Sorry, this event is over but see more current events on the Freebies 4 Mom CalendarGet a free meal on Friday, July 13 during Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A when you dress like a cow. Why would you want to dress like a cow? It’s fun and you get a free combo meal at Chick-fil-A when you fully dress as a cow. They’ve also got a cow costume kit to print plus photo contests to enter. I’d love to hear from any of my readers who plan to participate this year or participated last year! Valid at participating locations. (Image credit: Chick-fil-A)

Yes, I do close the dishwasher when I know that I’m going to re-open it in a few minutes.
So I don’t trip over it and my dog doesn’t get into it.

My daughter and I do this every year and it is so much fun!  Free food with lots of other people dressed as cows is a fun day.  Plus, you should see the looks you get from people who are coming in the restaurant that didn’t know it was cow appreciation day – hilarious!  If you don’t want to print the costume kit or go to too much trouble, we usually just dress in solid white shirt and pants and then stick black construction paper cutouts on our clothes with tape – takes about 5 minutes!

We’ve done this the past few years in a row with my locak Church’s Mom’s group. Then go to the mall’s play area – all Dressed as cow’s – Mom’s, Dad’s and Kids alike.  Our biggest group was almost 30 of us.  We called ahead – and they had a “hostess” of sorts ready for us with tables at the mall put together for us, they put out plastic table covers and were ready for our chicken orders.  We LOVE chick-fil-A!! We will definitely do it again this year!!

Last year my best friend was visiting and we decided it would be fun to participate. So we got some white t-shirts and a onesie for my son and got black tie dye and dyed the shirts with cow spots and decorated them further. It was alot of fun and a super cute outing!!
