I want to do this, but the words “automatic renewal” make me really nervous. Do you know if this means I have to cancel after 6 months or does it just mean that I am authorizing them for just that six month period.

  Even with the automatic renewal I believe they contact you and give you the opportunity to unsubscribe if you wish to. I’m going to contact All You magazine and ask them that specific question. I’ll update this post with their response.
