I wonder if DMR is on it’s way out. No more points in the newsletter. No more codes coming out for various new releases or events. The last two movie stubs I submitted – 25th anniversary of Phantom Menace and Deadpool and Wolverine didn’t count for points. My husband has the Disney+ account so he gets there. I am very disappointed there are really no way for me to earn points anymore. We have all the DVDs we want and they are phasing those out too. Maybe Inside Out 2 will have a code.
How long ago did you submit your ticket stubs? They say it can take up to 3 weeks to apply and then the date they show up as applied points is the date on the ticket stubs

Gee, it’s been a long time since any points offered. So, can’t spend points if we can’t earn any points.
Did anybody not receive theirMovie tickets points? I submitted 4 inside out 2 tickets for the points on july 2 and haven’t received anything.
I submitted 3 tickets for Inside Out 2 around the same time, I don’t think Inside Out 2 is eligible, but I’m planning to contact support.
Here’s what customer support said: “Movie tickets uploaded to the Disney Movie Insiders website must first be manually reviewed before points are awarded. This process can take up to three weeks from the submission date.”
And when I asked “Can you confirm that Inside Out 2 is eligible?”
Their response was “Yes, Inside Out 2 is an eligible title. Once they are approved, you will be able to see them in your points history under the date of the movie screening.”
I uploaded my tickets, but it now takes about 2 1/2 weeks to get an approaval.

Disney support said, “We appreciate your question, and we can confirm that the newsletter will no longer have bonus codes associated with them.” So sad. :(

I think Disney is Really starting to see the effects of OVERsaturation of a brand(s), not to mention tighter budgets of some customers with good financial sense, shrinkflation, and more venues/ other brands in competition with them. Their tightening their belts in new ways! If you notice, ALL gift cards have a 200 point surcharge now. Before, that was only for novelty plastic cards. Mickey was usually 1,000 points for $10 and 1,200 for baby yoda, groups, etc. They have a LOT of new things to deal with these next few years – losses, expenditures, expansions, possibly closings (R.I.P. Disney Store).
I noticed the missing points also but assumed I overlooked it avoiding their flood of fluff spam mail.

It had to happen sooner or later. There hasn’t been any points for past couple of weeks. I don’t know why they call it Winsday. I have lost respect for Disney, not just because of the points issue, but other things as well. I only have a little less than 400 points so I’ll just let them go. I figured this was coming since Budweiser stopped their reward points and Kelloggs did away with their Reading-Feeding program for kids. It’s the end of an era.

Yeah, put the monthly cost isn’t worth it for me on a fixed income. Besides, my daughter has Disney plus. So I piggyback off her when they have something worth watching.

I just got off the phone with a Disney rep and was told they would no longer give points for the newsletter (see link above that will no longer work). Also they are no longer giving Birthday points or “You deserve to be rewarded” emails! They seemed to think no one would notice and have not received any real feed back (so I gave her some as to my disappointment but I am only one person). The toll free number for giving feedback is 855-951-0775…PLEASE get all your followers to give them some feedback as to their disappointment so maybe they will reinstate these perks for being loyal. They eliminated both the month of my birthday so I take it personally!

Free comic book day, and Star Wars day is the same day this year. It’s usually the first Saturday in May and they get free comic books all over the world which some are Disney. Amazon is letting you preorder some of those for free, and one is a Star Wars young Jedi aventures. The Doctor Who comic, is also available for preorder. Past free comic book days are also available for free on Amazon
The rest of the Disney ones would have to pick up from your local, book shop for free.

Has anyone notice DMI has tapered down the amount of codes they’ve been releasing? There used to be multiple codes in a week. Now, it’s just one on this site and the one in the Monthly newsletter.

Does anyone have an idea when they are going to add some more 4K discs? The last time I remember Disney releasing a bunch of 4ks was back in July. They had West Side Story, Free Guy, Maleficent 2 and a couple of others. They’ve had a lot of Blu-ray discs for redemption lately but not any 4ks. I’m holding out for GOTG 3 on 4k lol.
the 350 point mystery dvd’s must be running out. bet they are discontinuing it soon and just keeping the blue ray one. or else i just have super bad luck, cuz over the last 6 months every time i claim the 350p mystery dvd, its just been the movie “chimpanzee’s” makes me think they over-produced that one big time. this has to be the 4th or 5th time in a row i got this movie. i always space out my claims so that i have better chance to get different ones

Oh! And FYI (if you haven’t already posted this) please note that the DMI app is going to turn into a pumpkin 9/1/23. Then it will be a web site only thing. I like apps bc they’re easier to use and find on my phone. But their app was kind of wonky and always shot me out to the web anyway. Still, I’m bummed there’s no app option.
What’s their reasoning behind getting rid of the app?
No official reason given yet. However, I read that maybe because many people have been complaining about the constant buggyness of their app, it’s not worth it for Disney to keep. So, they’re just getting rid f it (probably mostly for cost savings, since Disney is trying to cut billions). But, that’s just a theory. They’re keeping the web site, so far.
I agree, it is likely a way for them to save money. It is expensive for developers to keep apps updated!

You can add Disney insider website to your Home Screen and move it into a folder. You will have to sign in every time but you won’t have to open Safari (or whatever you have) and type in the URL each time. I do that with websites that I use a lot.

Are you cut/pasting or are you typing? When you cut and paste, sometimes you can pick up an unintentional space; try typing in all caps, no spaces before or behind…..worked for me on 7/3 and a friend on 7/5. The DMI site gave an expiration of 7/31 but I can’t remember how I found it (DISABILITYPRIDEMONTH) because I was just searching the site aimlessly when I stumbled upon it.
After days of this code not working for me it finally did just now and I finally got my 25 pts! I did type it in completely new instead of copying and pasting this time. I had seen the original posting mentioned by CR Lan at the start of the month and it had never worked until now in both the DMI app and on my computer. So, give it a try again – maybe they have worked out the glitch.

Scuttlebutt doesn’t work. I tried it when I first saw it. It came up success for seeing the little mermaid at what appeared to be the name of the theater. However the points never accrued. It’s possible Disney caught it in time and put a stop to it. Tried again and got an error message.

It worked for me; try typing rather than cut and paste, sometimes it picks up an extra space before or after…if that doesn’t work, try switching cases: if you typed in all caps, try lower case or 1 cap followed by lower case. These methods work for me when I’ve had trouble getting a code word to work. Hope that helps!

I’m aiming toward the D23 membership for 2023, as this would be the 3rd year I’ve maintained the membership, but the first year I’ve redeemed via DMI at no cost for the value of POINTS! I have been saving them up for years and not really been active at redeeming anything until I just recently found out that they could be redeemed for a membership to D23. I currently have accrued 3540 points, and only need 360 more, and my current membership is set to renew on 03.19.2023. Any advice on how I can accrue an additional 360 points over the next 25 or so days in order to renew with my points instead of under a credit card? Thanks so much!

There are forums where people sell digital codes for Disney movies for cheap. I, for example, just bought the 2 previous Ant Man movies for just $6.50 and got 300 DMI points as well.
Buying disney movies will give u extra points like in some cases 125 points.

Any idea why there haven’t been any codes since January 1? Seems unusual.
The release of codes is unpredictable! We got spoiled in December with daily codes, but typically they release only one or two codes a month unless a special event is occurring.
I just saw they’re advertising “Wins Day” on the main disneymovieinsiders page, starting on the 18th. So more points and activities are coming up yay

The WinsDay program on Disney Insiders launched today but the promoted scrambled words for points were missing so I called my contact in California and was told they had a glitch and the words for points would be delayed several days to a week on the site. But there is a great Mickie Mouse pin in color for only 300 points so if you have little ones who would enjoy sporting that, snatch it up quick.

Please disregard my comments regarding the “Valentina” code…. It does work, and it probably does expire sooner than the Halloween codes. It is Hispanic Heritage Celebration Month, celebration, word. As are Miguel, and some others, that are not SCRAMBLED words to be UNSCRAMBLED… they come from other bonus points, where they actually post the actual Word, and or a Presentation they have on a movie, or like LACIENEGA which came from a presentation on Hispanic Heritage Month…
I do not know which code # you are referring to, 10/15 has not come out yet, there are only codes # 1 has been correctly unscrambled as Winifred, and code # has been answered correctly in one of the above comments as MALEFICENT but as of now, unless it will be the answer to Code # 3 or codes after code # 2.

I had my account open, and I clicked your link in a new protected window for security (just a security measure I take from any unknown source) and it automatically gave me the Sept Newsletter points. that puts me at well I don’t want to say exactly, I would have had more, but I lost some points, back in the day when they allowed more than one account, and then we had to consolidate them. BTW, if anyone knows where I can sell at RETAIL or higher price I have some extra Unopened Blu-ray, DVDs or and or Combo packs ( I used to buy trying to get a better price & then forgot to return the higher priced ones, or where I bought them)… I have as many as 6 of some X Men Wolverine Origins movie, and some time 2-4 copies of Fox 20th century Films that I thought were going to be included when Disney purchase Them… but they don’t allow any that were produced before the actual Completion day of the Acquisition. this is not an ad, just a request, for where I can try to declutter and make a little extra $ to supplement my disability income. MULTIVERSE, MADNESS, WONG, and SCARLETWITCH all expire 5/4, I was told. I entered these 5/3, and somehow they said success, but did not register the points. Then entered them before 2pm my time on 5/4 and gave me the error message. I kindly asked about this in the chat, and they said sorry, since the 5/4 date had now passed, the date they expire, you can’t get points. I said, where I am, it is 5/4, plus I entered them yesterday. They are giving me the points as a courtesy they said. So… good luck!

This isn’t for Disney movie insiders, but you all may appreciate this deal.
Disney+ is offering 1 month subscription for $1.99, to new and returning subscribers. A nice deal considering “Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings” and “Jungle Cruise” will be streaming on Disney+ starting November 12, 2021. After one month it goes back up to $7.99, but you are able to cancel immediately after subscribing and still use the $1.99 month.

I just noticed a new “Ron’s gone wrong” game in the play section of the app. I am not sure how long it has been there, but if you haven’t already done so you can earn 10 points by downloading and playing(or just tap the play button, no need to spend much time with it). Available for ios or Android.
Note: This game does request permission to have access to your camera and storage to run, those permissions can be revoked after earning the points if you like.

Probably old news, but I found that downloading and just running the rest of the AR games from the app earn 10 pts each. I just did that with Raya and the Dragon and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier AR’s. These apps take a lot of storage space so delete them after earning the bonus points.
Same with the Ralph Breaks the Internet and Toy Story apps. I earned 10 pts just for downloading and running them. I deleted both as soon as I checked that I got the points.

Make sure you are updated to the latest version of the app, and check out the ‘Play’ section of the app. Tip: You may not need to actually play the game to earn the points, just installing the game and starting it should to the trick.
I say “should” because I am an Android user, and I can’t test this one myself!😀

Haunted was originally posted at the end of September. It gave me the points back then, so it didn’t work this time around.

Just FYI, most of the codes we get that are worth 25 only last 1 to 7 at the most. See the feedback I just got from customer service with DMR: the Bonus Code FREECITY was only valid to be entered until 08/13/21, and the Bonus Code BLUESHIRTGUY was only valid to be entered until 8/12/2021. Additionally, the Bonus Code NATASHA was only valid to be entered until 7/20/2021.

I have found that when entering codes, and it says “success”, but doesn’t show the points, reload the page, and they show up. If it gives you the error message, that usually means they have expired.

Hi… I got an error over pumpkinpie also. I had to contact dmi about something and during the conversation asked the CS rep why that code didn’t work. She told me it was only valid for a day in honor of Canadian Thanksgiving. She said it was a tricky code.
I just tried using EQUALITY and TUKTUK and neither worked for me. The KUMANDRA and EARTH2021 both did though.
Could not get DISNEYWEEKEND to work. Kept giving me this message: Error
Something happened while processing your code please try again later.
Shrug! Thanks for all the codes though. 99% of the time they work and I would totally miss out on them, if not for you! :-D
That is strange, this code worked for me. My advice is to try again tomorrow! Sometimes codes don’t work because of a temporary glitch with their system.
