Has anyone had problems submitting your info to sign up? When I click submit, I get a message that the state I entered is invalid. I tried the full spelling, the abbreviation….nothing.

Thanks!

Jamie –

It’s smart to be careful of downloading any program, and to have anti-virus software protecting your computer. This is a good educational freebie and I shared it because I thought it would have value to my readers. I downloaded it myself without any problems (no alerts from my anti-virus program) and did the first lesson with my kids. They loved it and I’m now printing the workbook and teacher guide to go along with it. I like the simplicity of the program and I found it very engaging for my 4 & 5 year old boys. They followed simple directions which included touching the computer screen and saying sounds and words, My first impression was a good one and we are going to try to go through the entire program to get ready for Kindergarten.

Has anyone else had issues downloading/installing this? I’ve tried numerous times and even read through the sites FAQs and troubleshooting tips. Went as far as emailing “tech support” only to be told to “keep trying” and if that didn’t work to resign up to receive the free program (which I did) only to get the exact same email with the exact same links that didn’t work! I’ve emailed back and forth with the “tech support” department and they just have told me to keep trying to download and reinstall and that “eventually it will work” and I’ll get a file that will actually install to my computer! I asked if any CD versions were available for users such as myself who were unable to partake in the free download and was told that I could purchase the DVD version February 1st for a ‘discounted price’ – doesn’t seem right or fair if you ask me. Super bummed this isn’t working…I’ve got a 4 year old who is learning to read right now and this would be soooo helpful to her!
