Sorry, this offer has ended. Get 12 free issues to Real Simple magazine ($10.00 value) from FreeBiz in this new free sample offer for the first 500 people. Real Simple is one of my favorite magazines. You can expect to see your first free issue arrive in 6 to 10 weeks. This is a free sample (and not a free trial) so you will never receive a bill (just renewal notices which can be ignored). Thanks to Koren for telling me about this new offer! You can put this job description in to get it: Other Industries | Unemployed/Between Jobs | Other Functions | None |None and it should work!
Does someone in your household already have a subscription to Real Simple magazine? You should still request this free sample because they should add on those 12 issues to your current subscription. It’s worked for me!
Doesn’t work for me. Says no magazines matched your industry or something like that. :(
I’ve been trying to get this forever. I hope it went through. Thanks.
I filled out a form like this once before..probably the same company and I just recently received my first Martha Stewart Living magazine FREE! For this one I put my home addy as both business and home addresses. I believe I did the same for the other one and it worked. I do not like giving out my employers address to these companies.
I put the word “mother” in the job title area and it worked for me. We’ll see if I just get spammed though. It gave me the same message about “we’ll let you know if you were one of the first 500”.
I put Domestic Engineer for job position. I felt they were a little snoppy whatever.
I just put homemaker in job title and then unemployed in co. name and then just my home address, works just fine! thanks for all your tips and tricks.
ahhhh……i just order from amazon.com on the $10 for 12 issues. anyway i did try this free offer and see if i am the lucky 500 to receive it.
It just worked for me. Thanks!
It worked for me. Thanks. I love this magazine.
I have gotten magazines from this site before.
Did not work for me keeps saying I need a function and when it is entered it does not work.
I had to log into my account because it recognized my email addy. I used “Homemaker” for my title/company and my home address for the address. I’ve received a few other mags from them with this info in the past. HTH.
For the info page at the end that asks for your business name/addy and/or alternate addy… for the business title/name, etc I just put ‘homemaker’ and ‘home’ . it all went through but i also got that message that said i will be informed if i am one of the 500.
Rose, I’m a homeschooler, so I just put educator/teacher. I made it through to the “you’ll be notified” message. These have worked for me before, so I’m hopeful!
It worked for me, I sell Tupperware so I used that as my business. Thanks for the free magazine!
I just put “Unemployed” under the business address and title. Hope it works as I love this magazine!
It asks for my business address and name of my company. How can I put that if Unemployed (which I really am)? It will not let me move beyond that as the name of my company, address, phone number is REQUIRED.
Please tell me, what categories do you enter, because I’ve tried this before and it said I didn’t qualify and I love REAL SIMPLE!
It won’t work for me either, keeps asking for a company name and address…
I went through the steps but it doesn’t tell you if you are one of the first 500. It requires you to fill in all your information regardless and then will “tell you later” based on whether or not the vendor approves your “application” for the free subscription. Even though you type “Between Jobs”, it still requires you to give your employer, title and business address on another screen, and it is required so you can’t move past that screen to submit…which doesn’t really make sense – if you are unemployed, then you don’t have a business address.
Unfortunately, it is quite vague as to whether or not you’ll actually get the magazine and it seems to have all the properties of a bait & switch or a scam just to get your personal information and register you for additional junk.
yes you are requesting the REAL SIMPLE magazine as well as they will send you a weekly tips e-newsletter
I received this message at the end of the registration: “You will be informed if you are one of the first 500 respondents for Real Simple magazine.”
Also, on the Confirmation page, there is an option (below the submit button) to update your contact preferences. From there, you can select a whole list of emails and preferences to “opt-out” from…
It did say that it was subscribing me to the Weekly Tips enewsletter as well as Real Simple.
It worked for me, but there are a lot of offers to skip through for it to complete the application process.
Thanks!!
thanks!!
It keeps trying to subscribe me to “Real Simple and Weekly Tips eNewsletter” not a magazine.
awesome! a few things to fill out but looks legit! thank you!
Did not work for me :-(
This is such a great Magazine! I have one that a friend gave me and since I am a caregiver for my dad i need things to be “simple” most of the time…. thanks for the tips and the chance to win a subscription.
