*Expired* Free Samples Saturday at Walmart

by Freebies4Mom on October 24, 2008 7:24 am

Walmart is hosting an All You event called “Yes, You Can!” this Saturday OR Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. You need to look-up your closest participating Walmart location to find out which day they are hosting this FreebiEvent. They promise to have lots of free samples to pass out. Most likely samples will be from the sponsors which include Suave, Smart Ones, Weight Watchers Cheese, Emergen-C, Carefree, and Crisco. Even though all locations are supposed to be participating, I encourage you to call your local Walmart before heading out for a special trip. The last FreebiEvent I went to at Walmart, I had to remind them about it and they scrambled to set-up for it. If you attend this event, I’d love to hear what samples you get!

I like to share FreebiEvents with you the day before they happen.

There was booth at my local Walmart today. I never go to Walmart, but I went just to see what I could get from this event. I got a mini can of Crisco, a Carefree pad sample, a sample of Pink Lemonade Emergen-C, and a sample of Weight Watchers String Cheese (a fourth of a whole stick, I would say), along with some recipe pamphlets and a bag to carry it all in. It was nice, but pretty minimal, I would say. There weren’t even any coupons, which was a little disappointing. The lady who was running it was sort of short with me after she realized that I already subscribe to All-You and clip coupons from every issue, as if she figured that she wouldn’t be able to sell me anything. I appreciated it though, and will definitely use the samples I got.

Jennifer – That’s disappointing and you should definitely follow-up with Walmart and express your disappointment. I had a similar experience at my Walmart, they were supposed to have an event, but there were no signs of it set-up anywhere. So I asked at Customer Service, and sure enough they had boxes of books to pass out, but they had forgotten about it. They quickly set-up, but only because I reminded them about the event their store was supposed to be hosting that day. I’m interested in hearing what others say that got to attend the event at their store.-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom

Thanks for posting this! Because I *was* really excited about it.I’m thinking about contacting All You. I was so excited that one of their events was scheduled at a store 20 minutes from my house. — But, when I got down their today, no one knew anything about it! I even asked at Customer Service, so they talked to the store manager – nothing. I was really looking forward to it, pretty disappointing… (I double-checked – I had the right date – and it’s listed on the All You website.)I hope anyone else that did attend a ‘real one’ found some great coupons and samples! Thanks again for all the work you do for us!~ Jennifer

WOOT! They will be doing it at my local Walmart tomorrow 🙂 I saw you on Inside Edition yesterday, and just from printing the coupons and using my local sales, I was able to buy $28 worth of cereal for $3.50!! That was 8 boxes ☺☺☺
