It’s Friday and it’s Halloween. How about some treats for YOU? Visit Freebie Friday for this week’s list of free samples and upcoming free events. There weren’t a bunch of new free samples this week, but you’ll find some great “oldies but goodies” that might be new to you this week. I’ll be passing out chocolate along with my blog’s card to the moms who visit my house for trick-or-treating tonight. Will you be passing out treats to the moms too? I think it’ s a fun way to switch-up Halloween a little, and I’m sure the moms will appreciate it!
Amy has kicked off the Big Give project on MomAdvice this week. I hope you will read about her efforts to support her local homeless shelter and the inspiration she provides to create your own “Big Give”. She is giving in a big way and asking for help in the form of ideas and donations to reach her goals. She wants you to share what you are doing in your community and link up your blog for an opportunity for free advertising on MomAdvice.

Renee – Thank you so much, you are so sweet! You’re right – there is a perfect spot to put one Hershey’s Bliss onto the card.-HeatherFreebies 4 Mom
I gave your cards out and every single Mom was happy to accept it and gave it a good look. Did you know that there is just enough blank space on your card to attach one Hershey’s Bliss candy so that it doesn’t cover up anything? It looked pretty neat. Hopefully that will get some more people up here interested in redefining their roles as consumers. Thanks for helping me help you help the freebie cause!
What a terrific idea, the chocolate and the cards! I do not get enough trick or treaters to do something like that. Have fun!
Your “Mommy Treats” look adorable! We live so far in the boonies that we get NO trick or treaters. But I think your idea is inspired and I hope it gains you even more loyal followers! Thanks for all great work you do. :)
What a cute idea to hand out the cards with your treats. Brilliant! We don’t get many trick-or-treaters, but I might have to steal your idea ;)Thanks so much for mentioning the big give.
