No appointment needed. Those three words helped me get two immunizations today to help protect myself against the flu virus, whooping cough, and tetanus.
I went to the CVS Minute Clinic and I was impressed with the quick service (and the important ‘no appointment needed’ policy). As a mom I won’t skip my children’s annual exams or immunizations – but I often skip my own or put them off just because life is so busy (and I sometimes put my own needs last). It was funny that when the door was closed at the CVS Minute Clinic, I actually kind of forgot I was even at CVS. That’s because the room looks exactly like a doctor’s office exam room. I’m glad I took the time to invest in my health today – and I encourage you to take time to invest in your health. Moms rule the world (and run the household) – so it’s important to stay healthy!
How have you invested in your health recently?
A few things I couldn’t categorize…Ramblings 4 Mom
It’s so important for everyone to keep their immunizations up to date! I just received my annual flu shot and my Tdap booster. My daughter
got her flu and meningitis shot so we’re all up to date.
I am very fortunate that my company has someone from a local hospital come in to give us flu shots and I take advantage of that. BTW…love that tank. I have it too (Coldwater Creek bargain)!
I ran two miles on a treadmill tonight! Go me! I always feel so much more confident and happy after I workout.
I will get a flu shot in the end of Sept./early Oct.!
I’ve got my annual physical scheduled for next week and will be getting my dtp.
I hope you read the product information inserts very, very carefully before agreeing to inject yourself or your children with anything.
I welcome your comments, but my purpose with this post is to encourage investing in your health – and everyone has a different opinion about how to do that. I don’t want comments to put others down, or criticize their decisions. Thanks for understanding I’m just trying to lead a positive conversation here and I respect everyone’s opinion (as I hope they respect mine).
