Amy (with a little help from me) will surely not dissapoint you with this week’s Freebie Friday feature on MomAdvice.com.
If you have a few minutes, you will also want to check-out MomAdvice.com for some great tips and recipes. I just started putting white vinegar in my dishwasher’s rinse aid dispenser after reading “The Amazing Dishwasher“. I’m also taking my bread machine out of my pantry so that I can try Amy’s recipe for pizza dough after reading “Dinner is in the Bag“. I’ll be sharing the treats I’m discovering on Amy’s website as I discover them. Reading Amy’s website is like having your own personal life coach, she’s there to help you with smart solutions for our daily mom duties.
Thank you so much for the link love. I am glad to hear that some of the tips are helpful! I did not know that about the stainless steel interior so thanks for that info, Lorelei. We have never had a dishwasher with that kind of interior.I hope you enjoy your pizza, Heather! Let me know how it turns out!
Great tip on the vinegar. I will have to try (I just bought a huge bottle of Jet Dry though!).Another thing Amy mentions is to use a citrus drink powder in an empty washer to clean the inside of the washer. A thing to remember is that if you have a stainless steel interior to your washer, DO NOT DO THIS! The interior of ours is stainless, and the instructions w/the washer specifically say not to use any detergent or anything w/citrus in it b/c it will mess up the interior. I didn’t know this when we first got the washer & was using Cascade w/lemon. Even though I stopped using the w/lemon months ago, I still have white marks & streaks all over the inside of my washer. It might come out if I try the stainless steel polisher, but I haven’t been so inclined yet. :)
