*Expired* Mischief Maker’s Book Giveaway

by Freebies4Mom on August 12, 2009 1:24 pm

Do your kids like to cook up a good prank? Be prepared, because this book will give them lots of ideas! One of my lucky readers will win the book Mischief Maker’s Manual by Sir John Hargrave thanks to Penguin Young Readers. This is an advanced copy for the mischief-making tween audience.

Here’s more information about Mischief Maker’s Manual directly from Penguin:
This is the definitive guide to pranking and mayhem. Written in the style of a training manual, but with hilarious illustrations, this book is broken up into five sections. The “Basics” shows kids how to find a pranking partner and how to pull simple pranks like making crank calls. “Prank Moves” explains how to pull pranks at places like home, school, or camp. “Do-It-Yourself” demonstrates things like putting a real worm inside an ice cube. “Experts Only” covers such advanced pranks as how to fake an alien landing. And “Recipes” gives step-by-step instructions on how to bake tuna cookies.

Freebies 4 Mom Giveaway Disclosure:Penguin Young Readers sponsored this giveaway by providing the book to give away. I love to give books away to inspire more reading! Most of the books that Penguin sends me I pass along to my readers unless they are perfect books to read to my own children. Penguin does not compensate me in any other way.

Books are a big part of life. My Mom and all of her sisters were teachers so myself and all of my cousins were reading at an early age. I taught my kids the same and they are teaching my grandkids to love books.

I really haven't been reading much lately but when I do read its usually a Dean Koontz book. I have almost every book he's written and I can read those over and over. Thanks!

I am really into series of books right now. This year I've already started and finished the Harry Potter books, Twilight series and the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris. I need to find a new good series to start. Any suggestions?
