Get a free Planet Heroes DVD “Here Comes the Sun” from Mattel. This is absolutely free, there is no shipping or other charges, so don’t be afraid to do this! This is the second Planet Heroes DVD offer that Mattel has done – I got the first one in the mail and know that many of you did too (it’s no longer available). This is a 16 minute DVD intended for children 3 and older and you should receive it in 12 to 14 weeks. Well, I received mine in only about 4 weeks previously – so don’t expect to have to wait that long for it! And guess what – there is a 3rd FREE DVD planned to be released soon and I’ll let you know about it soon!
Thanks for sharing, Ginava3!
Whenever there’s an asterisk next to the phone number, I just put 212-555-1212 (like in the movies!). It goes through fine, and then I don’t worry about giving out my private information.
You’re welcome, Michelle – thanks for sharing it with your readers!
Heather, Just wanted to let you know I linked you to this post at my blog too. This is a great find! Thanks for posting it. Michelle
I do not list my phone number unless it is required (usually indicated with an asterisk). I have not noticed an increase in unsolicited phone calls since I started requesting lots of freebies. But, if you have any reservations about giving out your phone number, then don’t give out your real number if you see no reason why they need it and if they will not let you submit the form without it. My feeling is that most of the major companies (like Mattel) really do abide by their privacy policies and although they may collect information like your telephone number, they will not use it or sell it to other companies. Of course it’s hard to tell for sure, so be cautious. Thanks for the question!
On many of the free things they askfor your telephone number. Do you get a lot of unsolicited phone call when you give out your phone number?
