Shutterfly $10 off Any Order

by on March 4, 2010 12:52 pm

Update:  It looks like this coupon code can only be used by select members.  Check quickly to see if you can use it by going to “My Account” then “Enter Special Offer Code”.  I’m so sorry I didn’t realize this immediately, but when I saw the banner ad for it on my Shutterfly homepage I thought it was for everyone (but now I realized it was because I was logged in that I saw it).

To celebrate turning 10 years old, Shutterfly is offering some members $10 off any order with the coupon code MARCH10.  Your product total needs to be $10.00 or more to get this discount.  So you could order 100 prints at 10 cents each, get $10 off to get those 100 prints for free and just pay $4.99 shipping.  Or you could get $10 off any photo book (they start at $11.69 for a 5×7 softcover and shipping is $2.99).  It’s totally up to you what you want to use your $10 discount on!  Thanks goes to Christie for sharing this new offer with me.  You’ve got until Thursday, March 11 to use that coupon code.

Also, don’t forget you can still earn 60 free prints just for creating a Share Site (it’s easy, you can do it in less than 5 minutes).  New to Shutterfly? Get 50 free prints

The coupon doesn't work for me either. I did the 100 prints for $10 but it says "sorry, this special offer may not be applied to your account."

It didn't work for me either. Bummer…I looked under their special offers and it only says for their 10th b-day enjoy 10% off photo books not ten dollars.

The fine print says it is for Select registered accounts, so check your email before you take the time to create something, b/c it may not work for you!

Just for the record, I love Shutterfly and use them all the time. But, I recently had a dissapointing experience with them and thought I'd share here just in case others had the same problem. A lot of the time their promotional money canNOT be used towards the purchase of prepaid plans. They can be used towards the purchase of individual prints at the standard rate, though. I had a $25 promotional gift card from them and got the runaround when I tried to use it to buy a new prepaid print plan. Again, this may or may not apply for those who qualify for the free $10 here, but I just wanted to share my experience before anyone gets frustrated! ๐Ÿ™‚

I just logged onto my account and saw the banner for $10 off on any order. I clicked on it and go the promotional code and entered into the "My Special Offers" section and it was applied so it now shows I have a $10 credit I can use towards any order. YAY!!

amymesko – While I understand your frustration, it does state in the terms and conditions of promotional codes it can't be used. I thought about it when I first learned of this and it does make sense. Codes expire so they don't want customers to have the ability to extend that time frame out and essentially spend less than they would have to use it in the given time frame for a full priced product. makes sense to me. I love shutterfly and think they are great with allowing as many codes to be used at once as they do!
