Looking for new recipes to try that are budget-friendly and don’t call for expensive ingredients? Check out The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook written by Erin Chase who blogs at $5Dinners.com. Her cookbook is a great source of inspiration to try something new for dinner, plus she teaches you how to save more money at the grocery store. Three of my luck readers will win a copy of The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook!
Cookbook Review
I was given a copy of The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook to review and I tried the Chicken Tortilla Soup recipe and loved it! It was so easy to put together, using common ingredients many of us already have in our pantry and fridge. Something unique about this cookbook is that you’ll see the price of each ingredient in parentheses. You’ll also find a “Frugal Fact” below each recipe that helps you learn how to make your grocery dollars go further. It’s wonderful to add this practical cookbook to my kitchen from a real mom – someone I can relate to and who has recipes using ingredients I can buy inexpensively.
