Update May 6: I know that Walgreens just sent out an email stating that this offers is only valid on Wednesday, May 7 – but guess what? I just ordered my photo today and printed my receipt that states I owe “$0.00” for my 8×10. I’ll be taking my receipt with me when I pick up my photo – just in case!
If you are looking for some affordable frames, check out your local craft store and use a coupon or take advantage of a sale! I am able to get frames at either Hobby Lobby or Michael’s for 40-50% – they have coupons and sales so frequently that I never have to pay full prize for frames! If you’ve got Hobby Lobby in your area, print this week’s coupon (you can use one coupon per day, the coupons change each week and often are the 40% coupon). i got mine at the dollar tree! fyi, my walgreens told me we weren’t supposed to pick up our pics til wed. or later-despite what the web/email said about pickup readiness. when i expressed disappointment in the conflicting message, she let me have mine today.
We don’t have a Hobby Lobby on my side of the state (east side of Michigan) so I like Joann Fabrics and Michael’s for frames because they both have regular 50% off sales. Joann fabrics sometimes has even bigger markdowns on their clearance prices if they have too much stuff. Usually after the new year or at the end of a season is a good time to stock up. Michael’s also carries frame sets that have multiple sizes in a package. If you get one of those one sale it’s a huge discount!
