I’m thrilled you found me by reading “A Clip-and-Save Renaissance” in The New York Times today because I’m here to spoil you with the hottest freebies plus learn how to save money on the products you use daily. I do this by sharing the hottest free samples, coupons, rebates, blog giveaways, sweepstakes, and free resources. My blog is not just for moms, because I mainly share free stuff that everyone uses. It really should be called “Freebies 4 this Mom” because it’s all about what I get for free that I want to share with you.
In the article you probably noticed the reference to how I bought $160 of groceries for only $30. Above is a photo of that purchase and I explain here how I took bought items on sale, using coupons, and took advantage of an instant savings promotion at Kroger to get about 80% off. I bought food to stock our pantry and fridge with, and most of it is food we normally eat. The exceptions are the Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks which we are using to pass out to trick-or-treaters instead of candy. Oh, and all those cookies we bake and share with neighbors and friends.
That expired coupon mentioned that I used after-the-fact to Save $10 was a coupon that was valid on the day I went shopping. But I forgot to use the coupon so I did return to the store later and they gladly gave me the $10 because the coupon was valid for the day I shopped. I always encourage you to return to the store if you forgot to use a coupon or find a mistake on your receipt. It’s part of being an empowered consumer. I do not encourage you to use coupons that are past their expiration date already.
I don’t want you to be overwhelmed with all the free stuff I have to share with you, but I blog about the hottest freebies and coupons daily so I recommend that you subscribe to Freebies 4 Momby email, in a feed reader, or even on your mobile phone so that you don’t miss any of the free stuff!

Um… I sure hope you brush your teeth and shave! No coupons for organic or healthy items? HA!Ok, my rant is done. :)
