*EXPIRED* $10 off $10 JCPenney plus Free Shipping on Shoes

by Freebies4Mom on August 4, 2010 1:15 pm

The $10 off $10 coupon is valid through Tuesday, August 24.  Free shipping for shoes is valid through September 6 – no coupon code required and you can combine it with the $10 off $10 coupon.  A great way for new Ebates members to get their $5 sign-up bonus is to make their first $20+ purchase at JCPenney and use this coupon code TEN2YOU for $10 off any $10 purchase and get 3% cash back thru Ebates at JCPenney.com. So for new Ebates members it’s like getting $15 off a $20 purchase ($10 deducted with coupon code, $5 cash back at the next quarterly Ebates payment) plus you get 3% cash back too. But of course everyone can use this new hot coupon for a great deal – and we have MoJo Savings to thank for passing it along.

TIP: If your $10 off doesn’t apply to your order, go back and type it in again (all caps) TEN2YOU  I had to try twice before this coupon code would apply to my order.

Think of it as a $10 coupon, because yes you do have to pay shipping ($5.95 unless your ordering the shoes which have free shipping today) or a store pick-up fee ($4.50). You can only use this coupon code once. It sounds like it even works on Outlet items! The expiration date of $10 off $10 is Tuesday, August 24.  Free shipping on all shoes is through September 6.

I’m shopping at JCPenney thru Ebates for 6% cash back. I found sandals for my son “Arizona Lil Caden Toddlers Sandal” (originally $28.00) for $10.99 on clearance – so take $10 off and then just pay $0.99 for Toddler Sandals (shipping is free). Guess what size your kids will be in next year to plan for next summer!  Please be aware that sometimes if a coupon code is not listed on the Ebates site, the use of it may cancel out your cash back.  But I usually get the cash back even though I used other coupon codes.  Last time JCPenney offered this coupon code, I shopped through Ebates and they did credit my account for the cash back.

Yeah – the free shipping has been fixed – you can now get free shipping on sandals without having to call the CS rep!

cs rep says that sandals and slippers are excluded from the ‘free shipping’ deal…but website does NOT reflect these exclusions…so I complained…after speaking with her supervisor & looking at the leopard ballerina shoe I ordered, they decided to give me free shipping, along with the $10 off $10 promo code. MANY cheap shoes are sold out, have to click on many to find one available and in stock.

UGH! Shopping the JC Penny clearance section is INFURIATING!!! Every time I add an item to my cart, it says that the item is unavailable. I even got to checkout with a few items and THEN it said unavailable. I think I give up!

Mine isn’t having free shipping come up – anyone else having this issue?

Whenever this code comes out, I try to use it and it always says the item is not available when I put it in my cart no matter what I choose. I would like to use it to get some sandals for our son.

They are selling out of many of their shoes, but are still showing the shoes.

I used a $10 of $10 JC Penny code that I had found on one of these blogs a few months ago and by using it, I was automatically signed up for Home Service Plus or something like that which was billed to my account at $13/month.

I haven’t heard of that happening before, certainly hasn’t happened to me (I do use all coupon codes I post). Call JCPenney customer service to complain and get a refund.

I got a lil pair of sandals for my son for next summer for $1.07. But, I don’t know how the other moms are getting 4 pairs for $4 since the $10 off only applies to the total? Oh well.

I got all the way to the payment screen and it said that the discount will only apply if you use a MasterCard to pay for it.

IMPORTANT! Long story short, the free shipping never got applied to my order, so I called the company. Apparently there’s a glitch — slippers & sandals are NOT supposed to be part of the free shipping, but the website says “all” and “no exclusions.” The lady I spoke to said she figured the website would be changed soon… So I guess you can try to get your order in before they change it and then call to “complain” that you were still charged shipping (and get them to redo your order) or just order something other than slippers/sandals and not deal with the hassle. Hope it works for y’all! (She did end up redoing my order, total of $3.15!! 🙂 )
