*Expired* CoolSavings for SmartSource Coupons

by Freebies4Mom on June 20, 2008 12:08 pm

I strive to show ads on Freebies 4 Mom that might be useful resources for you. That is why I recently included an ad for CoolSavings on the left sidebar (look for the pink pig wearing shades). I use CoolSavings as an additional source for printing SmartSource coupons. If you have any coupons on SmartSource that you have reached the print limit on, and would like to print more, consider heading over to CoolSavings. Sign-in if you already have a free account, or sign-up for a new account.

My three favorite coupons on SmartSource are:
Save 50 cents on Rice-a-Roni Nature’s Way (Kroger has these priced at 99 cents every day and they double my 50 cent coupon so I get it for free)

Save $1 on any Gold Bond Ultimate lotion (Walmart has a travel size lotion for 97 cents that I use this coupon for to get it for free)

Save $1 on House of Tsang product (I just love these sauces and always have a few flavors on hand for adding excellent flavor quickly to meat, veggies, noodles, or rice)

Tip: I fire up the free Mozilla Firefox browser in order to print these coupons. So if you have trouble printing SmartSource coupons, you might want to try using this browser.

I printed coupons on both firefox 3 & safari. If you have to just copy the "NPCpnMgr.dll" file to the browsers plugins folder then try.

I have done everything possible to get those stupid smartsource coupons to print and no luck. I gave up for months but just got an email for a free burger king kids meal and it was a smartsource coupon. I was so ticked I couldn’t print it. I spent hours again trying to figure out another way to get it to work and thanks to your advice about SAFARI it worked!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I am so thrilled! You guys are awesome!

Deborah- you are a genius! I also could not get anything to print on Firefox 3.0 or IE. I spent hours trying to fix it. I just installed Safari like you suggested and I am printing my coupons right now! Thank you!

Most of the coupon printers are not yet compatible with the new 3.0 version of Firefox. I just uninstalled it and re-installed 2.0 and it now works fine.

OMG after months of not being able to print smartsource coupons. After uninstalling, reinstalling, updating, changing security settings…I even dual installed my OS so I could run XP, while keeping Vista…NOTHING WORKED. I spent HOURS of frustration on this and to no avail, NO COUPONS. Not on Firefox. Not on IE… NO COUPONS AT ALL. Stupid error again and again about my printer, blah blah….The other day when I was updating my iTunes, it gave me the option to download Safari. I didn’t even open it after I downloaded it. I just used Safari for the first time and wouldn’t you know it…. I JUST PRINTED A SMART SOURCE COUPON!!!!!!I actually clapped when my printer started printing. So for all of you having trouble getting smartsource coupons to print. Before you lose your minds, PLEASE DOWNLOAD SAFARI and use it to print your coupons.

Leah – I have not had any problems using Firefox 3.0 and printing SmartSource coupons – so I’m not sure what the problem might be. The only suggestion I have is to contact SmartSource for help. Sorry for the delay in responding to your question!

A question was asked about firefox 3.0 and it seems you have just skipped over it. If you don’t know how to remedy the problem then just say that. I also have installed mozilla firefox and now I am at a loss, which is sad when before coolsavings worked just perfectly. Maybe do some research ahead of time, eh?

Rebecca – The doubling/tripling policy varies by region. Kroger stores in Houston double and triple coupons every day of the week. You need to ask your store if they do this or not. It’s set-up in the computer so it is automatic, the cashier does not need to do anything special.

Does Kroger automatically double the coupons or do you have to go on a certain day or do you have to specifically ask? B/c I took that Rice-A-Roni coupon and I don’t think they doubled it. I’ll have to check back at my receipt though.

I have never been able to figure out how to download the coupon printer for smartsource. When I downloaded Mozilla, I tried it again, and it said that the coupon printer was not compatable with firefox 3.0. I am at such a loss and so sad that I can’t figure out how to get those great coupons to print! I am missing out on such great deals! If you have any ideas let me know! leahmjohnston(at)yahoo(dot)com. Thanks!
