🎳Head For Fun to Main Event: Fave Place to #EatBowlPlay

My family had a blast on Labor Day Weekend bowling, playing games and eating great food at Main Event Entertainment. I wanted to make sure that you know that Monday, October 10 is national Head for Fun day at Main Event and is the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy some free fun with your family. It was the first time for us to visit and we were impressed with the layout, the wide variety of games and the high quality food at reasonable prices. We actually had a little too much fun, because it was difficult to get our kids to leave! We were at Main Event for five fun-filled hours of bowling, laser tag and video games. And we just had to go back the next weekend to get our fun fix again!

We have quite a few bowling venue options in our area, but our favorite place to bowl at is Main Event for lots of reasons. We love that we can watch TV while we’re bowling, we actually returned to Main Event the weekend after Labor Day and watched the Texans Football game while we bowled. You can set-up your lane so that younger players have the bumpers up, and the adults do not. This was a great feature, because at other bowling alleys the bumpers are either up or down and you can’t customize them for each player. We also love that we have game options after bowling, like lazer tag and video games. The menu offers a wide variety of food options, and I was thrilled to see so many healthy options like a Vegetables & Pita Bread Hummus plate. The food is actually much better than any of the area bowling venues, so for that reason alone I’d pick Main Event for bowling every time!

We enjoyed our drinks while bowling, because we really worked up a thirst! After bowling, we had lunch at the pizza cafe. I’m so happy that Main Event stands apart from other similar venues by having a stand-alone cafe rather than an all-you-can-eat buffet. The quality of the food is better and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The menu is impressive with lots of options including pizzas, salads, burgers, ribs, steaks and more. My husband was really impressed with the beer selection and got one of his favorite local craft beers.

Don’t ask my youngest son where he wants to have his next birthday party (LOL). Because I know he’s going to say “Main Event”.

While my kids and husband were playing multi-level laser tag, I was winning candy from this game. We didn’t even fully explore all of Main Event, because they also had billiards and karaoke. Some Main Event locations also have gravity ropes, rock climbing, mini golf and bocce ball. So it really is an entertainment destination that will thrill every member of your family!
