*EXPIRED* Free Digital Scrapbook Artist ($49.99 value)

by Freebies4Mom on August 27, 2010 6:54 am

I’m sorry you missed this freebie, but please check more Free Samples currently available. Don’t miss the free download of Digital Scrapbook Artist ($49.99 value) for Windows Vista or XP available again on Amazon now through September 30. This is not a free trial, just a free product available for a limited time and you’ll never be charged for it.  You can also get a free download of Digital Scrapbook Artist Compact at DaisyTrail (which I’m guessing is a smaller version with fewer features).  Here’s a brief description of this software: “Serif’s Digital Scrapbook Artist offers a unique combination of ease-of-use, traditional scrapbooking techniques, and truly realistic-looking results. Now you can quickly and easily transform your photos and memories into wonderfully personal artwork that you will cherish forever.”

You will need to install the Amazon Games & Software Downloader before downloading the software. Please visit the Amazon Games & Software Help page to answer any questions about downloading this software.  I did successfully install my software and it works great!   Amazon does require you to have a current credit card on file even if you’re ordering free software, free music or free Kindle books.  Just be sure your order total is $0.00 before you checkout.  To obtain your unique product key go to “Your Account” (top right) and then find “Your Games and Software Library” under the Digital Content category.

Thanks goes to Heather for sharing that it’s available again on the Freebies 4 Mom Facebook page.

Never mind. My husband found it for me on the Amazon page. 🙂

Mine won’t download without a Product Key. I can’t seem to find it (since I don’t have a box). Any ideas? I’m VERY excited about this product and have been wanting something like this for a long time.

this is not good…they want you to buy everything…the items that say they are free..for some reason won’t download….interesting but the ones that you must buy $4.99 for a trick or treat background…very expensive!!! they download easily…seems like a scam to me…

This is a free download, it is not a scam. There may be optional scrapbooking kits you can purchase for it, but you don’t have to buy them to use the software.

The Amazon Games and Software download crashed Chrome on my computer too.

KIM August 27, 2010 at 8:50 am

do you have to give them your credit card info to “buy & download” or is there a different way?

Heather August 27, 2010 at 9:39 am

Kim – Amazon requires that you sign-in to download anything (even if it’s free). And they require that you have a current credit card on file (even if you are buying something that costs $0.00). Just the way they work, but if you make a $0.00 purchase you don’t have to worry about ever being charged. I trust Amazon with the free downloads. Sorry there isn’t a way to download it without updating your credit card information.

The only tip I have is to visit Amazon’s help page “Troubleshooting Download Problems“. I did not encounter the same problem.
