The name of my blog should really be “Freebies 4 this Mom” because the “Mom” is really me. I know that most of my readers are moms, but my blog is for anyone who likes to find out about the hottest new free samples, printable coupons, sweepstakes, and giveaways. I want to thank all of my readers and recognize that I’ve got some faithful readers who are not moms (but dads, college students, and fellow frugal-minded folks). I’ve recently updated my “Welcome” post so if you are a new reader, you might want to check it out.
I’m sending a special thank you today to my non-Mom readers. I’d be thrilled if you left a comment for me and told me what features of my blog you find the most useful. And for my fellow moms who are reading, I’d be tickled if you passed along the name of my blog to one of your non-mom friends who likes to save money. Thanks for reading my blog, and please excuse some occasional diaper talk!
i’m another “non-mom reader”, and just wanted to take this opportunity to say how much i’ve enjoyed your posts. :)
I’m not a mom yet, but my husband and I have a kitten we practice our parenting skills on (she’s a bit of a punk), and we’re hoping to start trying for a baby in the next month or so!! I’ve been reading/subscribing to your blog for several months now and have really enjoyed getting freebies and passing along the freebie info to friends in an online forum I belong to. I’ve even posted a link to your site on my blog.Keep up the great work!!
I am not a mom as well. I enjoy the site for the samples, and I have participated in a few of the sweeps. While you do focus a lot on coupons for young families I am still able to find a lot of your content interesting/useful.And I have a teenage sister, so I enjoy the Penguin giveaways. :)Thanks!
Your right. Your blog should be called Frebies for “this” mom. I’m not a mom, I’m a dad who like to enter sweeps and receive freebies so I can try before I buy. You see we have like closets full of half full items we bought and never liked. That is why I love the freebies so we can try before we buy and save if they come w/ coupons if they come with them. Although I have not won any sweeps yet I am going to keep tyingBy the way there is a sweeps for Universal Studios Orlando Halloween Horror night vacation getaway. You can enter 1 time per day. I’ll have to send u the link or maybee u can use google. In short I’m just looking for ways to stretch my budget as every food item has almost doubled in the past year. By the way I work for theh post office and delivered some of those Orvile Redinbocher popcorn cakes today so they are on their way so watch your mailboxes. (trust me I am watching mine, as we would like to try them to see if they are worth buying)-Mike
Thank you everyone for your comments! It is so encouraging to read them and really inspires me to keep bringing you the links to free stuff, coupons, and sweeps. It’s wonderful to hear from my readers because it helps me learn how I can improve this blog and make it a better resource for you. Thank you!
I’m a non-mom and hope to stay that way (I just like giving the kids back). I love the listing of where you can sign up for the free samples. It always makes opening the mailbox so fun! Plus I have found that I love trying new products and with sample sizes it’s a perfect way to do it! Thanks for all the hard work you put into this site!
Hi I am a mom of two and enjoy reading your blog.I love to received freebies and read about the deals. Thanks for all!!!
I’m a married college student who is looking to start having kids in about two years. I look to this site right now for sweeps (thank you for finding the ones that people can actually win), freebies, and worthy coupons. In the future, I know I’ll find the blogs that you post about really useful too. I also saw the BeCentsAble workshop here and went and did it myself, which was pretty useful, so thanks for that too. This blog has definitely changed my daily habits and become one of the sites I visit most often, simply because everything that can save me money is so very nicely laid out and very frequently updated. (I also am a member of Livejournal’s freestuff community, which I completely recommend.) Also, this site has made saving money a fun habit and hobby, when it had seemed like a chore before, as well as made me very aware of my responsibilities, power, and rights as a consumer.
Hi, Heather! I’m a non-mom, a major couponer, a CVSer and I LOVE your blog!! It’s great to have links to so many freebies, coupons and sweeps in one place! I visit at least once a day! And I’ve actually won a couple of sweeps lately! Thanks so much – keep it up! :-)
I am a non-mom reader. I am a college student who loves to save money and get free samples! I love reading your site! I am now trying to get my own blog going and tell my friends how they can save money and get items for free as well.
I’m a non-mom, but hope to be one day. I mostly read “frugal-mom” blogs, so I’ve just gotten used to it. Being a teacher, I mostly read your blog in the summer (when I have time). I especially like your sweeps round up, and your birthday freebies list. (During my birthday week, I got a BUNCH of free food). Thanks for all your hard work, and I love the look of your blog.
I am not a mom – just a nursing student. :-) I love your blog for all the useful information on coupons and blogging. I also like your freebie links. All of this information has helped me get started with my own blog. Thanks so much for all you do!
I am the mom of a 9 year old. I have worked full time her entire life, I convinced my husband to let me take off for a month. Next week she goes to school and I’ll go back to work. Thank you for all the tricks you’ve taught me, all my friends are amazed at the deals I share with them. My first freebie came today and I almost cried with joy! Ohhhh how I love the sound a postal carrier makes:) keep up the good work!
I am a broke college student who is trying to be as frugal as possible. I started reading this blog in June and I find it to be especially useful for coupon savings and freebies (I love free magazines!). I am also teaching my own mother to be frugal (slow but steady progress). :] Thanks for all your help!
Hi Heather!I’m not a mom, but I love the free samples and coupons. I acutally found you due to an interview you gave on Blog Coach. Take Care,Trixie
I am not a mom and a seminary student, so I like to save money. I also like excitement in my mailbox so I mostly use your site for freebies. I also liked the freebies for moms on their birthdays because I had my birthday this year after I started reading your blog and I got a few neat things (like free Coldstone!). :D Thanks!
Very much a mom (of four) here, but I gladly pass along this site to non-moms (as well as moms) all the time! In fact, I found so many people asking where I find out about the deals I get, I printed out a list of my fav sites to hand out now. I’m sure you can guess who’s at the top of it!!!! Thanks for all you do, again!!
Another non-mom here! I love getting a deal and saving money no everyday items (gives me more money to spend in other areas of my budget – like traveling to see my friends that are moms!) Thanks!
I’m a non-Mom, although I hope to be one someday (like Megan – I’m practicing). However, saving money is pretty universal, I think. So I like all your coupon/freebie tips. Thanks – and keep ’em comin :)
I’m one of your non-Mom readers :) I primarily visit your blog for all the coupon deals but also enjoy all the tips (especially money ones) you offer. Keep up the great work!
I am not a mom. But I am learning to be frugal. And freebies go hand in hand with that. So I enjoy getting free things! I also have a few friends who are moms, so I get baby freebies for them. And I plan on being a mom in the future, so I’m just practicing!
