More exciting than what was in my mailbox this week is that I was filmed checking my mailbox last Thursday during an interview at my house for Inside Edition. Update: It looks like they will show the interview on Wednesday as part of their Consumer Alerts series. But I do not know for sure that it will air because it is always possible that it may be bumped by something else. Even it if never does make the show, it was a great learning experience for me to be interviewed on camera.
What’s in my mailbox this week?
These freebies are still available to request:
P&G; Brand Sampler – I got my Pantene Expressions sample and a $1 coupon for Tide. I just logged-in and there is a new sample I can request for Tide Total Care. I encourage you to sign-up or log-in and see what samples are available for you to request. I love this centralized location for requesting samples and coupons for P&G.;
Quaker Simple Harvest Granola Bar – They surprised me with a Honey Roasted Nut granola bar and a coupon to save $1 that doesn’t expire until 12/31/09. Surely I can find a good deal sometime before then. I shared this sample with you here.
Dove Dimensions – I received 4 coupons because I’m a member of Dove Dimensions. If you buy Dove products on a regular basis, they have a T-shirt offer you should check out (you pay $2.25 s&h;).
HEBuddy Lunch Box – This one’s for my Texas readers. If you shop at HEB with your kids, they can redeem those points from playing the Crane Game and being a member of the Birthday Club for fun merchandise. This green lunch box is a great one and comes at a perfect time because we needed a replacement.
These freebies are no longer available or were a special sampling opportunity:
Fiber One Blueberry Toaster Pastry – These sweet treats promise to help you reach your daily recommended fiber intake. I got a sneak peak of this new product and hope to be sharing a coupon with you soon.
Vocalpoint Bumper Stickers – One of the more unique offers, I received a bumper sticker sleeve so that I can print my own bumper sticker from the 12 humorous messages offered in this promotion for the new Ford Sync vehicle.
Free Magazines – Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, Redbook, Parenting, Country Home, Ode, and Town & Country. I want you to also enjoy free magazine subscriptions, because it’s not something you need to spend money on! StartSampling is the best source of free magazines, and right now you can request a free issue of O at Home magazine.
Coming up later today I will be announcing a new giveaway for a Kroger gift card – talk about a useful prize to win! It’s part of the great giveaways that I’ve lined up to help. celebrate One Year of Freebies 4 Mom.
That’s it! Another fabulous week of free sampling. So, what was in your mailbox this week? I can’t wait to hear from you!
Cool! Vocalpoint just sent me a free Gillette women’s razor. I looked it up on Amazon and the retail value is $14! :)
I’ve got pictures and descriptions of a week’s worth of freebies that were waiting when we got back from my husband’s preaching a revival. Here’s the link: http://luv2bfrugal.blogspot.com/2008/10/mailbox-freebies-last-week.html
congratulations on the publicity. IT’s great they’re having you on the show, the last time it was someone who kept telling you to check out her website, but there was nothing there. This week I received another family fun and cosmopolitian mag. I also received a free tide sample, olay lotion, land o’ lakes coupon and recipe book. slow week, but still great!
In the past couple weeks, I’ve received samples from* Simple Harvest granola bar (mine was apple cinnamon with cranberries. I am so disappointed to learn they don’t carry it at my store, as it was *so* good!)* Fiber One granola bar and single serving box of cereal. * Dentyne gum (full-size pack!)* GoodNites (we use cloth diapers, but this will be tucked away for emergencies)* Several magazines whose names are escaping me right now as I haven’t had the chance to read them. Thank you SOOOO much! I *heart* your blog!
Anonymous – Carefully read the “bills” you are receiving from the magazines, because usually they are renewal notices designed to look like bills. Do not hesitate to call the magazine’s customer service if you have any questions about your free magazine subscriptions. I have never received a bill, and certainly have never gotten a collection notice for allegedly not paying a bill. I can’t give you any tips on the Country Living magazine, it’s not a magazine I’ve ever gotten and I’m not sure who the free subscription request was through. Good luck, I hope that their customer service fixes the problem for you!
It didn’t come in my mailbox but I did get my free birthday gift from Sephora: Vanilla Cupcake body wash! It is fabulous! Our Sephora isn’t open but my mom picked it up from the location near her. And she added a couple more relatd products to a nice birthday gift.
Heather I have started receiving bills for the “free” mags we earned through adperk. I got invoices for Redbook and Good Housekeeping and got a 2nd notice for Country Living claiming I was being sent to collections. I certainly don’t want to pay all these bills but you never know when one of them will actually send you to collections and hurt your credit rating…
Just wanted to let you know about another freebie…found it in the new issue of Allure magazine. Go to http://www.dovebodylotion.com and request a free sample of the new cream oil body lotion!
How cool ! Now you’ll be even MORE famous !!!!!! ;-)
How fun, I hope we get to see you checking your mailbox! I got a P&G; sampler with pantene and prilosec OTC and another free issue of Family Fun and Parenting!
I got the cottonelle wipes this week! :)
